Not a prob. The reception is supposed to start at 8:30 tonight, so I'll just have an apple later to take the edge off my hunger. I usually have dinner around six, so I'm going to need to eat something earlier!

mmmmm.....Bryer's sugar-free vanilla ROCKS!

I'm fighting a migraine, so ice cream doesn't appeal to me at all right now. But I'm glad you're enjoying yours.

Sorry your head is hurting, sweets. Headaches stink, no doubt about it.

Oh, my, those flowers on my porch look so good! I've got purple and pink wave petunias, and bright pink geraniums, plus a purple verbena and a couple of other plants to get in the ground. Even a single lavender!

I love flowers......but I even bought a small grape tomato plant as well! I love grape tomatoes.

We got a garden plot once in our apartment complex's community garden. John's attendant planted tomatoes and zuchini. One of the neighbors didn't know that John's attendant was watering the plot, so they decided to "help." You guessed it...they drowned our crop.

Ooooh.

I'm thinking of planting several edibles this season. Groceries are getting so high, and I'm trying to eat more healthy anyway. Besides, I love having lots of greenery on my porch and patio.

You do beautiful work, Deb. I always enjoy seeing your latest project.

I draw, but it's been a while since I had time to sit with pencils and a pad......another one of the many things I hope to have time for again. (I used to get in constant trouble at school for drawing instead of doing my work!)

Girl, you don't know the half of it!

I'm so glad to be an adult......I love most of my life now, but I really didn't much like being a kid.

One of my favorite expressions is "it's never too late to have a happy childhood!"

I mean, really! I get to hang out with cool people, get to do my favorite kind of music, get to hike, get to work with youth, get time to read and think.....and heck, I even have a teddy bear collection!

When I was a kid, there was always someone who didn't think I could do anything, who thought I wasn't good enough and didn't do the right things.

I'm not happy all the time, true. But nobody is. My life could be so much worse. And best of all, I know how much I am loved by my friends and family......who could ask for more?

I'll have to ask Tamsey if I can borrow her camera, then download it so I can print some photos over at Rachel's place. She's got the neatest photo printer.....

Okay, I've had my snack, and I'm still hungry. I hope the munchies at the reception are going to be very, VERY good.

Or maybe I'd better have a bit more to eat. Don't want to scare my hosts, right?

Hi everybody.

Darcy, sounds like you've got a nice selection going on there with the plants.

How's everybody doing?

Just dropping by to say hi! Are you having lunch with Rachel tomorrow? Sounds like a reason to enjoy Mondays!

Yep, Monday is lunch with Rachel and the boys. Yum!

Today I had to go shopping for new athletic shoes. My trainer said that my pain in my feet probably came from the fact that I needed new ones, so it was off to Marshalls for a new pair. I may end up with another soon, they were inexpensive, but for now they'll do. I also picked up some socks and a couple of sports bras to work out in.

Then I had to go back to REI to do something about my boots. Ended up getting a different pair, and now I have to start all over again breaking them in. Me and my enormous feet. I also picked up my sleeping pad for the trip and a new Nalgene for work.

Now I'm home, doing a bit of writing and trying to decide what's for dinner. How was everybody's day?

Today was excellent! Church service went quite well, and I got to take my Loverly and my mother out to eat afterward!
Then on the way home, I met a newlywed couple. They were married last night!

Wow, that must have been neat, James!

Church was soooooooo good today. What with being a singer at both services, I end up hearing the sermon twice, but it was STILL good. Pastor J is a real blessing, a Methodist preacher who can PREACH!
