Is it snowing yet at your house Sharon?

Nope! I was just commenting to my friend that I'm surprised that the trees look so full yet. It has been absolutely beautiful here this past couple of days and I guess we are going to have a great weekend too.

Will definitely keep praying...Angie has been on my heart a lot lately, the kids are including her in their bedtime prayers as well.

Awwww, Beckey, will you please hug them and tell them how very much that means to me and all of Angie's family. I will be letting them know, and with pictures if you don't mind Beckey.

Of course I don't mind.

How's Chris doing? Isn't today the day his dad has heart surgery?

Oh, good memory Trish! I don't think it's "surgery" per se, Mary just mentioned that he will be having a "procedure".
I don't expect to hear much until this evening now. Mary is taking the girls shopping today, and believe me, the girls will have to "keep up" with their grandma!! Mary is known for her shopping ability, bargain procuring, return tactics, etc. Need a workout? Go shopping with Mary.

Oh man! If only I were there and had the finances, I'd go with her! I'd like some retail therapy, and I could move in my shopping annointing!

I am? I don't like shopping in crowds, but when I've got money and feel a leading to go shopping, which I have in the past, it's kind of a case of "Get out of my way! Trish is coming!"

You sound like my Britt, now, Trish! She's not nearly the avid shopper she used to be, but when the mood strikes her, her motto is "shot til you drop, then get up and shop some more"

I can be a bit like that when I feel God leading me.

Most of the time, I like to shop, but I'm not normally like that.

Sharon, you'll get a kick out of this after our conversation last night...someone else sat in OUR seats today in church. Yeah...nice. It was my fault because I usually spread our stuff our to how many seats we need (5) and I didn't. We just can't fit comfortably in less seats than that, so we had to find new seats. The horror!

I cannot believe that some one would do such a thing!

our church is small and has so many folks that no one's seat is sacred. The early bird gets the worm. it is a free for all. I think 99% of the folks have all come from churches where "THAT" seat is "So and so's" and you just don't sit there and it is kinda a running joke. Ooooo did I sit in your seat!?!?! LOL!

LOL!!

Well, I was naughty and didn't go this morning but I'm sure the Sch---'s were in their place two pews from front with Lois K right behind them. So i could actually "visualize" myself there.

I survived a shopping trip with a 13yr old (my great-niece Cynthia) and her 15 yr old friend. I gotta tell you though, in this one store, there were shoes by the fitting rooms and I was like "ooooo, I wish I could show these to Karlie!!" Some really, really cute girlie pumps. It's homecoming time around here. I tried to find some online that I saw in the store and haven't been successful yet. OH!! And gosh, I wish I was 13 and thin for just one day to try on some of the absolutely adorable clothes that are out there right now. I mean really cute.

Now I am in the "boring" stage of life clothing wise finding really cute stuff and still remain "age appropriate".

We missed you at church, Sharon. Yes, the Sch---'s were in their usual spot....I walked them up. We were on the usher list today. Pat J. filled in for you.

Today was the memory walk.... it went really well. I misunderstood...they didn't plant an individual tree for each baby...they planted A oak tree for the babies. We each could each put a scoop of dirt in the hole to help plant it. We sang songs and said prayers. It was very nice.

Hope you have a good week.

HI Sheila!! I didn't even realize I was suppose to usher. ???? I'm pretty sure I'm liturgist next week. I'll have to thank Pat. Honestly though I didn't even think I was on this current list. We were always with the Katie and Dave H.
Glad the memory walk went well. It certainly has been wonderful weather.

Hey Sharon-Marie.

I have another prayer request please. This is for tomorrow as Angie will be having a surgical procedure done...

"My lungs continue to drain fluid from the chest tubes which means I'll need to have surgery on Monday---a procedure to seal up the lung linings and remove the chest tubes. It will be done by the same surgeon that put in the heart tube.

Thank you for all your prayers for me & my family. This is by far the most difficult experience in my life. Hopefully I'll be able to go home next week and get started on a new chemotherapy soon.

God Bless,
Angie"

Thank you all so much. Everyone!

Sharon - I've marked the surgery down on my calendar for tomorrow so I'll remember to pray for Angie.

Thank you Sharon-Marie. I know it matters very much to Angie, Chris and ALL the family to know that there are people lifting them in prayer.

Sharon, today in church we did a cancer awareness Sunday. It was kind of in response to the Relay for Life in our town, and our church had a team for that. Pastor had all the cancer survivors and those currently battling it come forward and a couple of women(including our pastor's wife) gave their testimony. I thought of Angie all through that service and afterwards a group of us prayed specifically for her. They said they would add her name to their prayer list too.
