I'm trying to decide at the moment if I should hustle and get dressed and go to breakfast at 7:30 central time. STay tuned. LOL!
Fiddle. Sigh. Fiddle.

I read your post and immediately thought, "Hey! I'll go find a YouTube video on doing the Hustle and post it in this thread!"

However . . . all the videos that I liked and considered linking had inappropriate language in the comments section. And all the videos that didn't have any off-color remarks didn't really impress me, videolistically.

Fiddle. Sigh. Fiddle.

So, Sharon. Sorry. No video of people doing the Hustle this morning.

Shoulda tried the Paul Newman movie.

I'm thinkin' that ain't the hustle Shar-Mar had in mind. Great movie, though. Gleason was brilliant.

Sharon, just catching up around here.

Have the doctors said what they're going to do with Angie since finding cancer cells in the fluid?

I think it's mere existence on youtube is sufficient.

So it requires off color remarks to impress you?

Pardon my French smile.

Trish, I haven't heard anything yet about what the next steps will be for Angie's treatment. I did get an email from her mom this morning that said Angie had called to ask her to come up to the hospital, and Mary said she sounded much better and like herself. They did take the drain tube out this morning too. So I am just waiting to here.

Today also is the 42nd Wedding Anniversary of my brother Dave and sis-in-law Mary. Angie's mom and dad.

HA! No, not the baby, I am 3 years younger though. They got married the Fall after Mary graduated. Her family was our across the driveway neighbors. We met them when I was in the 8th grade. Sheeesh, that seems so long ago!!
Probably because it is! LOL!

Little quick update on Angie, they are hoping to move her out of ICU this morning, and because she is still having some breathing issues they are going to do a CT scan also.
Will keep you all updated as I get it.

(((((((Everyone)))))

My SIL married the boy next door. Poppa said she'd sit in the front yard, reading her book and sitting on the swing and he told her to just make cookies and take some across the road.

She did.

I'm sure she would say Poppa was just looking for cookies for himself.

When did you and Jeff marry? I can't remember.

I think we should get a tax write off for every year you have been married to the person you are filing jointly with...but don't listen to my - Paris Hilton stole half my bail out plan. The nerve of that blonde.

FYI - My plan was for the gov't to pay 6 months of mtge payments to the banks for every mtge holder and then require the banks to lower the interest back to what it was when it was originally written. People who were behind or just getting by would be caught up or ahead. People who didn't 'need' help would get a reward for doing well and banks have already made money off of the homeowners, and wouldn't be LOSING money by selling homes in foreclosure.

But what do I know?

I heard on teh news yesterday that some banks are lowing the interest rate. Some poor gal could not make her morgage payments, her interest was 7%. Rather than foreclose on her and have her house sit for months with the bank not being able to sell it they lowered the rate to 4.9%. She saved like 1700 a month.

But what do I know?

Momma_bee, Jeff and I got married in Jan of 1979. This past January would have been our 29th anniversary.

JUST got this email from Angie's mom...

"Hi, here is the latest, Angie is having drainage tubes put in her lungs right now and this should allieviate the fluid still accumilating in her lungs. The CT scan show that there wasn’t lymphatic cancer going on in the lungs which is a Miracle. She should start feeling better after this procedure is done on the lungs and the goal then is to get her well enough to put her on a different more aggressive chemo . Because the cancer seems to have stepped up a notch and so we will all step up more notches with our prayers for another miracle of healing. The girls were able to get up and see her for a short time this afternoon which was the medicine she needed. They are sleeping over here tonight and tomorrow we have a fun day with their crazy nana (that would be me) and do some shopping. They are my best medicine too. I must close now and crash, I have a super long day. One more thing I was able to be with Angie for 4 hrs. this morning and I prayed with her. Will keep you all posted, again thank you for the many prayers and keep them coming. Mary"

Thank you all so much for continued prayers.

Awwww, Beckey, will you please hug them and tell them how very much that means to me and all of Angie's family. I will be letting them know, and with pictures if you don't mind Beckey.
