Sharon, I checked her site today because I couldn't remember when she would have news. She's been in my prayers all day.

Hi Kimmy

Hi Karlie! I have the site bookmarked and check it about 6 times a day LOL!! I signed up for the email update notification too.
This weekend is the Great Midwest Dragon Boat Festival in Racine and I know she is looking forward to that. That team of ladies are just so supportive of each other.

Hi Kimberly!

I just got an email from Angie letting me know that she intends to post an update on her Caring Bridge site after she gets home from her appointment tomorrow.

Please lift her in prayer tonight and into tomorrow. She understandably feels a little trepidation.
Love you all.

Good Morning Everyone! I realized this morning upon rising that my post above is a day ahead of time. Angie's appointment is on Thursday the 10th.
Not today.

But that's okay if you prayed for her today.

Hi Aga!! I really enjoyed the pictures and descriptions of your garden! Boy, you really went to town. I think that's cool though. I wish I had more of a hankering for gardening, but I confess I enjoy more, watching all the garden pests (rabbits and squirrels and birds) and would have a hard time making them stay away. LOL!

Loved the sharing peas story.

Got the bedroom AC in the window. It took me longer to adjust the mini blind so that it was perfectly horizontal than I did positioning the AC LOL!!
Just wanted to assure those who were a bit concerned about me putting it in by myself. It really is a "smaller" one so it was quite light. But it sure will make a difference as support to the other one when the dewpoints are 70+ and 90 degrees, which is what Friday is looking like I guess. *sigh*

Thanks Karlie.

But now, this afternoon... I lost the temporary filling in my tooth that is going to get crowned. I have barely had it a week
I felt like a naughty child when I called about it. I was eating a mini Tootsie Roll. I know. I think I could hear the receptionist sigh when I told her LOL! Sooooooo, I have to go tomorrow morning and get another one since the next step in the crowning isn't until Sept. 9.

A little OCD, are we?

The man who installed our blinds (purchased from Lowes) came and replaced one today, so we are now happy.

We are trying to get all the household things done that we have put off for a while, and fit them into the Mrs. K's short vacation from teaching.

I guess With the blinds I'm a little on the ocd LOL! But not in the rest of the room. I worry about the blinds because people can see them from the outside and it just totally drives me nuts when I see them dropped on one side or a "space" between slats that isn't equal. It's like, "messy" looking. Blinds are suppose to hide the actual messy inside.

When does school start back up by you. Ours doesn't start before Labor Day now again but I know the teachers have to report before that.

I am so excited for my daughter-in-law who will start her first teaching job.

Karlie, I have been using the midget Tootsie Rolls, to satisfy my chocolate hunger lately. I am tired of Hershey Kisses right now. But I am "allowed" 9 as a serving. TRs are 8 in a serving. That of course is when I really try to behave.

Mrs. K goes back August 5. The kids go back August 11.

She is mumbling in the background about how things are better up north (she is from Maine, where everything is better).

I don't keep them at home...I have no self control with chocolate and ice cream. I'll buy a mini-bag now and then, or buy a handful in the bulk candy section, but can't be trusted with a whole regular bag

Oh wow! August 5th??? When does school let out in the SPring then?
I'm not from Maine but I lived in Upper Michigan when I was a kid. Does that count? LOL!

They got out of school on May 26.

Upper Michigan? You and Cindy can exchange stories on how much fun it is playing in the snow.

Well, my problem with having so many around this time is that I bought 6 bags with the intention of going to the church on the morning that our group of youth heading on a mission trip were meeting to leave by 5 am and giving them for the trip. Well, I didn't make it. LOL!! Took 4 bags to work and was loved by all for a day and a half, but kept the other 2.

Sharon ... last winter when I was dealing with crown and root canal issues, my temporary came out like every other day. I had to do Thanksgiving trying to keep my crown in place. It was so aggravating.

I was born in lower Michigan in a town on Lake Huron shores and then lived in Escanaba Michigan, country then city,
But snow stories...with the past winter right here in east central Wisconsin we could share stories. BUT Maine I think more of the water being involved to with the winters. We have an area called Door County ( in the "thumb" of Wisconsin) that we do a paper for and there have been some really fabulous pictures of the ice and snow that actually make me think of Maine because of pictures I have seen from there.

May 26 seems early but most of ours are out by June 6 and that's not all that much longer.
Well I hope you get all you want done and that she can enjoy herself and feel well rested going back. If she's a teacher who is really into her job than I have to believe she looks forward to being with the kids again too. I came across a book we printed at work a few years ago called "It's All About Kids" by Debbie Happy Cohen and the Faculty & Staff of Independent day school.

This LINK tells a little more about it. It sounded interesting and I am thinking about getting the book for my dil.

It really is a Pain in the patoot isn't it? But I'm thankful that the tooth can be saved. I just need to behave LOL!

The last temp I had on a tooth pre crown lasted me 3 years for pete sakes.

Here is another book by her that is suppose to be really good. It is 5 starred at Amazon with one review to read. This one is about reaching goals, not someday, but now for kids to grandparents...."Reach Your Stars"

EDIT to change the amount of the reviews it got.
