Kids won't eat calzones, but will eat pizza??? So I'll have to fix pizza or something else for them...

I thought a calzone was a folded over pizza...

It is, but they don't believe that...

How do you make the calzones?

I made a family sized one tonight...you can scale it down by using only one pizza crust...

Cookie sheet...greased...oven preheated to 375...place one pizza crust on the cookie sheet, working it until it is as big as the cookie sheet. Spread pizza sauce all over except for the edges...leave about half an inch on the edge... Then add your toppings...veggies, pepperoni, ham, pineapple, whatever floats your boat...Then put lotsa cheese on top...cover it with the other pizza crust...sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top....put in the oven...cook for 25-30 minutes....then cut it into pieces after it's had about 5 minutes to cool....

Don't have the foggiest idea. I thought I'd do a pot roast in the crock pot but after an unexpectedly late night, we slept in a bit late. I might do it tonight. Besides, we didn't get to the store yesterday to buy the potatoes and carrots I need anyway. I might try adobo chicken since our maid is from the Phillipines and I need to see if my recipe is any good. LOL

Last night was yummy baked ziti with sausage and lots of mozzerella cheese. Tonight, I haven't got a clue, probably dinner on the run again becuase we have another softball game and it is an away game. By the time we get home it is going to be 8:00 at least. So, we will most likely stop somewhere and grab a bite.

Last night we ended up having the Betty Corcker chicken alfredo box meal, corn and I made zucchini for myself. Was a good fast meal. Ya'll... seriously you need to try that box meal. As far as boxed meals go- that one is they best I have tasted. It even comes with the chicken!

Tonight is itallian sausages on the grill, hotdogs for the boys and maybe some shells and cheese.

Last week I bought italian sausages, and when we took the groceries in, that bag somehow got left in the trunk! I really wanted those sausages!

I'll second that. With two teenage boys, I throw in some veggies, add extra noodles and chicken, and it's still very good.

I have turkey leftover so I'll be making some kind of casserole.

I made sloppy joes, baked beans and chips for supper tonight.

Meanwhile, I also made up a big batch of Beef and Potato Burritoes to freeze up individually. I like these so well I've even had them for a quick breakfast. I am going in for surgery on Tuesday, so I'm trying to put up a few things to warm up in the microwave, etc.

You made chips? Wow, you're supercook!

We had homemade mac & cheese with veggies and chicken cooked into it. It was good, but I think something was different this time. I've been having gastrointestinal upset. Hubby is fine, though. <shrugs>

We ordered food from a local pizza place. I ate a bunch of chicken wings, and some salad and mozzarella sticks. For someone trying to be on a diet I sure have eaten pretty badly this weekend.

Tonight my housemate cooked morrocan meatballs in a kind of curry sauce, with courgettes and celery, with rice. It was pretty good. I'm very lucky to be sharing a house with so many people who can cook, which is rare amongst young people, especially guys...
Tomorrow me and another housemate are cooking a vegetable chow mein, with pork in a schezuan (sp?) sauce.

Hmmmm. I haven't decided what I want to do with the boneless, skinless chicken breasts that I have defrosting. I am thinking of either a broccoli, chicken casserole or Indonesian ginger chicken.

I made Roast Leg of Lamb (much to my Aussie hubby's delight!), gravy, roasted potatoes, baby carrots, peas and croissants (Pillsbury kind). It was a delicious meal and hit the spot. And, we have leftovers! YUM. I just wish lamb wasn't so expensive here in the US. I'd love to have it more often. Maybe the lamb chops will go on sale...? That would be great!
