Santa that is one of my favorite Elvis performances. I have that entire show on two LP's that I have copied over to CD's. Even my youngest daughter loves Elvis and she was only born a year before her death. BTW both granddaughter are Elvis fans and of course have never seen him.

Mine too. I also got all of his Gospel Albums. One of these days I am going to get energetic and transfer them and all of the other albums to CD's. I haven't had a turn table in years.

Santa, I love the new pic of you and the missus.

You know, if you have a Big Lots store in your area, you may wanna go see what they have in the way of CD's. I bought a pack of 10 last night that look like vinyl LP's that would go awesome with your project. I haven't opened them yet, so if you want them, just say the word. I thought they were cool - and if memory serves me right, there are more there to purchase as well. I'd never seen them before - they are Verbatim brand though so should be nice to use.

Thanks Melissa. I don't have whatever I need to do the transfers from LP's to CD's. Also want to do VHS tapes to DVD's sometime also.
Not sure if you can purchase one unit to do all of that of if it has to be seperate units for each. I am very electronicaly challenged. In other wods, do know nothing about how to do any of the above.

Being in LOVE

Think back to when you met that man/woman that you just knew would be the one.
Remember when you realized/admitted to yourself that you loved him/her.

Now remember how much you wanted to act like you were in a movie, and yell to everyone in the football stadium 'I love (fill in the name)!' You told family and friends how perfect he/she was;
he/she was just what you were looking for.

Well, I told THE LORD that I love Him today.

And He said to me, ' How much do you love me ?
You haven't told anyone how good I've been to you.
You haven't shared how perfect my love is.
You haven't spread the good news that I am always there to listen to your problems.
You haven't told your family how I helped you pay your bills when you didn't have a high paying job , or how I got you a better one.
You haven't shared with anyone how I took away that addiction that would have cost you not only your job, but also that man/woman that was just what you were looking for.

'So how much do you really love me ?'

So..........................
I said I would share with my friends and family (for starters) just how wonderful , perfect , understanding , patient , loving , unselfish , considerate and forgiving GOD really is.

He has blessed me with a family that loves me and friends that I can confide in.

But even more than that, He has saved me from destruction I couldn't even see coming.

He gave to me the peace of knowing Him, and He has never broken a promise.

Truly He is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

And I stand in my stadium today to tell all of you,



' I DO LOVE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST WITH ALL OF MY HEART !'

BE BLESSED & SHARE THIS WITH SOMEONE ELSE
if only by giving them a smile.

About those Church Hymns

A minister decided to do something a little different one Sunday morning. He said "Today, in church, I am going to say a single word and you are going to help me preach.
Whatever single word I say, I want you to sing whatever hymn that comes to your mind."
The pastor shouted out "CROSS."
Immediately the congregation started singing in unison, "THE OLD RUGGED CROSS."
The pastor hollered out "GRACE." The congregation began to sing "AMAZING GRACE, how sweet the sound."
The pastor said "POWER." The congregation sang "THERE IS POWER IN THE BLOOD."
The Pastor said "SEX" The congregation fell into total silence.
Everyone was in shock. They all nervously began to look around at each other afraid to say anything.
Then all of a sudden, way from in the back of the church, a little old 87 year old grandmother stood up and began to sing "PRECIOUS MEMORIES."

Gotta Love Little Old Ladies.
Laugh... it burns calories.

From a strictly Mathematical Viewpoint:

What Equals 100%? What does it mean to give MORE than 100%? Ever wonder about those people who say they are giving more than 100%? We have all been in situations where someone wants you to give over 100%. How about achieving 101%? What equals 100% in life?

Here's a little mathematical formula that might help you answer these Questions:

Santa, I'm useless to be helpful for any of those things. I am able to burn music CDs from music stored on my computer, but I don't know how to do anything else. I'll ask some of my buddies if they know how to go from LP to CD or from VHS to DVD - if they do, I'll see what information I can get that will help ya out.

Morning Santa! I got this in an email today and thought I would share it with everyone - it's really cute.

Saying Grace in a Restaurant

Last week, I took my children to a restaurant.

My six-year-old son asked if he could say grace.

As we bowed our heads he said, 'God is good, God is great. Thank you for the food, and I would even thank you more if Mom gets us ice cream for dessert. And Liberty and justice for all! Amen!'

Along with the laughter from the other customers nearby, I heard a woman remark, 'That's what's wrong with this country. Kids today don't even know how to pray. Asking God for ice cream! Why, I never!'

Hearing this, my son burst into tears and asked me, 'Did I do it wrong? Is God mad at me?'

As I held him and assured him that he had done a terrific job, and God was certainly not mad at him, an elderly gentleman approached the table.

He winked at my son and said, 'I happen to know that God thought that was a great prayer.'

'Really?' my son asked.

'Cross my heart,' the man replied.

Then, in a theatrical whisper, he added (indicating the woman whose remark had started this whole thing), 'Too bad she never asks God for ice cream. A little ice cream is good for the soul sometimes.'

Naturally, I bought my kids ice cream at the end of the meal. My son stared at his for a moment, and then did something I will remember the rest of my life.

He picked up his sundae and, without a word, walked over and placed it in front of the woman. With a big smile he told her, 'Here, this is for you. Ice cream is good for the soul sometimes; and my soul is good already.'

The End

I love this story!
Sometimes, we all need some ice cream.
I hope God sends you some Ice Cream today!
