Wow! I can't believe that no one has suggested An Inconvenient Truth by Al Gore. Or maybe Fahrenheit 911, Roger and Me or Bowling for Columbine by Michael Moore.

Probably because this thread isn't "What is the worst documentary ever?"

Why is An Inconvenient Truth such a bad movie? If you'd seen the likes of movies such as "The House of 1000 Corpses" or "The Dentist 2: Brace Yourself", you'd probably think otherwise!

I liked Tideland. Although I seem to be the only person in the universe that felt that way (nearly all the critics hated it).

The megabuck flops would have to be:
Ishtar
Water World
Gigli
Crossroads
Battlefield Earth(The bloated disaster which ensued battled to recoup one tenth of its reported $73m budget)
The Avengers
Glitter
Catwoman
The Chronicles of Riddick
Heaven's Gate
The Postman( only making back just $17 million of its $80m budget.)
Striptease
Swept Away
Town & Country (having only made back $6.7m (domestically) of its $90m budget.)

A lot of people would disagree with you, including me. Not about the soundtrack, though.

Wow! I am surprised no one has mentioned The Hulk! Talk about killing a superhero. Ang Lee killed the hulk with some horrible directing, cgi and script.

The Hulk is another one that I was the only person in the universe who liked.

"The Right Stuff"
I remember being in the USMC watching this in the base theater. It was so long and everytime I thought it was over it wasn't. But I didn't walk out.

"Raw" (Eddie Murphy)
I was an unsaved heathen Marine and it was so nasty and bad that I walked out of it.

The worst movie ever made is most definitely

Cabin Boy.

It is followed closely by

Nacho Libre

I cannot believe what my eyes just saw! You have got to be kidding, Jim, when you say that "The Right Stuff" is one of the worst movies ever. I absolutely loved that film. Sam Sheppard was really good as Chuck Yeager, Dennis Quaid captured the mischeviousness of Gordon Cooper, and Ed Harris was superb in the role of "Col. Goody-Two Shoes" John Glenn. I realize that Glenn was the only Marine in the whole Mercury program, but come on bro'! This was a truly quality movie from start to finish.

Scarface - That movie was dis-gusting, so much blood and gore.

Any slice and dice movies.

Sorry dude, it must have the timin' or somethin'--it's like it was 6 hours long. Maybe if I tried again and watched a little at a time it might come out different to me

Maybe. But for goodness sake, give it another shot Jim. I'm looking for it on DVD so that I can watch it again and again and again and again...

Oh yeah that was probably one of the dumbest movies I've ever seen. I actually liked the first one, but the second one was just way over the line rediculous.
