What culture is that? The psuedo-greek mythological disco skating culture?

Reason 3. Had absolutely no resemblence to one of my all-time favorite movies by the same name even though it was marketed as a remake. The only similarity I could find was the number of kids.

It wasn't really supposed to be a re-make, though. The mother was supposed to have been the granddaughter of Anne (I think) that wrote the original Cheaper by the Dozen. It was more of a sequel than a remake. I didn't care for some parts of it, but overall I enjoyed it.

I haven't seen the movie, but the book "Cheaper by the Dozen" and its sequel, "Belles on their Toes" were written by Frank and Ernestine.

Yeah ok I guess it was supposed to be a sequal of sorts and not a remake. But I still hate it. I think it was a dumb idea.

The only one I have heard of so far out of the listed above is cheaper by the dozen. But I have never seen it.
The dumbest move I have seen was some movie with babes who were ninjas I can't remember the name. I only watched half before leaving it was some dumb.

You've gotta be thinking of Cheerleader Ninjas!!! I remember watching the preview when it was listed on pay-per-view and having a great time making fun of it. In fact it's still an ongoing joke with our friends when we're really bored "we could always go rent Cheerleader Ninjas". LOL

Napoleon Dynamite--hubby and I just don't get it...our daughters made us watch it.
Endless Love is awful. It's an oldie. Love the song though.
Has anyone seen Conan the Barbarian? Hubby took me to the theater to see that when we were dating and I thought he was just joking around but he really liked it. Arnold and a bunch of killing and a big kettle of human parts---ugh!!! It has to be one of the all time worst movies ever made.
I've got a couple more but can't think of their names right now.

No that was not it. The title is right there in my head but there are to many cob webs in the way I would remember it if someone wrote it. . It was on dvd and the front had a bunch of babies and toddlers on the front and there is a #1 and a #2. That is all I can remember. But I don't think I what to remember it.

That would be Baby Geniuses. I unfortunately saw the whole thing and yes I agree it is one of the worst movies EVER! It was so stupid I couldn't believe how dumb it was. I was totally shocked when they made the sequel since the first was critically slammed and I never met a person who liked it. Yes, awful, awful movie.

I totally agree, Tacitus! Why do they even make sci-fi channel movies anymore? Who even signs up to star in those things? Especially that dinosaur movie, Raptor Island. I could probably write a book about all the stupid things in that film, and in my opinion, it wasn't worthy to include dinosaurs, the most beautiful and majestic of God's creatures as far as I'm concerned.

Call me nuts, but I also didn't care for Armageddon. It had some funny lines, and the scary-sounding music in the film is tremendously good, but I simply disliked it.

Eragon is perhaps the most disappointing movie in my experience. It had its moments, but mostly they completely butchered and ruined a terrific book. I demand a remake! And get Peter Jackson to sign up as director!

I also despised Dragonheart: A New Beginning. The first Dragonheart was awesome, and there were exactly zero reasons to make a sequel, aside perhaps from some ill-conceived idea that they would get more money if a sequel was made.

Plus there is, of course, Manos: The Hands of Fate. If I remember correctly, the director was frequently high on drugs during shooting, so that would explain a lot. Still, our loveable and hilarious robot friends at "Mystery Science Theater 3000" know how to make sure you still have a reasonably good time watching movies like this.

Yes that was it. My pick for the dumbest movie is baby geniuses.

I really liked the Spanish original, though.

It's Baby Geniuses, I think, that baby flick. I sorta thought it was cheesy too.

the movie I think that was the biggest waste of my time and money was "Intolerable Cruelty" starring George Clooney and Catherine Zeta-Jones. It also had Billy Bob Thornton in it (huge mistake), but it was billed as awesome and promoted heavily. The trailers made it look so good, but then that's their purpose, huh?
When it was over, I seriously wanted that time back! (not to mention the money I spent pruchasing it! I didn't even keep it, I Gave it to my sister)
It was SOOOOO bad

Under the condition of big budget/hype, and that I have seen: toss up between...

Day After Tomorrow
Snakes on a Plane

There are others that are as bad, or worse, but didn't meet the big budget/hype criteria.

(Anyone ever see "Fortress of Amerikkka" or "Deep Star Six"?)

Some pretty good choices here to say the least. I see a lot of people mentioned Napoleon Dynamite...I have to agree, what is the appeal of that movie? Stupid me, I tend to buy a lot of dvd's and I heard so many good things about that movie so I went out and bought it thinking it would be worth it, boy was I wrong. It seemed to horribly drag halfway through and I maybe only slightly laughed once. Waste of a movie and a waste of an hour and half or however long it is. The dvd itself will make a permanent paper weight as far as I'm concerned or bond fire material.
