I've also eaten a dish which consists of a hamburger pattie (sometimes 2) topped with fried eggs (sunny-side up), on a bed of white rice, swimming in a pool of gravy, called a Loco Moco.

There are many thousands of wonderful things in Hawaii. This is not one of them.

I'll pray for you my dear.

....Thanks. Just letting you know, I don't normally eat stuff like that. I've eaten a Loco Moco just once and that's only because my sister in law made it and she invited us for dinner. It was pretty tasty, but I can't say it's something I'll eat every day. I'll stick to eating Japanese food.

so is it a sin to wear a Hawaiian shirt to the grocery store? do anyone but tourists wear Hawaiian shirts in Hawaii? That is like when I went to Texas, everyone was wearing sneakers and not boots!

( a desperate and transparent attempt to come back to topic)

I'd like some Spam, please

Sorry sir, we are out of Spam

Then I'll have Spam and eggs

But sir, we have no Spam

then I'll have Spam Spam and more Spam

We have no Spam, sir!

(another feeble attempt, this time to remember the Monty Python diologue)

It is a sin to wear a shirt that says, "I love Hawaii" if you are a resident of Hawaii, however, if you are a tourist and you wear said shirts, then it is not a sin. It is also a sin if you are an adult and wear short-tight khaki shorts and neon colored CROCS clogs with socks with said shirt regardless if you are a tourist or not.

Men (and some women, depending on where they are employed) often wear Aloha Shirts with slacks for work (common office attire). It is a sin to wear a suit and tie unless you are an attorney in court.

Soy Milk is a sin no matter where you buy it regardless of the color of your shirt or the number of gas stations you did not pass.

If you are allergic to milk it is God's way of telling you that you should not drink or eat dairy products at all... therefore making ingesting pseudo products even more of a sin as you will be trying to skirt God's decree.

Take it from an allergic person. milk is not my friend and I cannot stand the taste of the stuff. Only when it is frozen with LOTS of sugar in it is it at all acceptable and only if ingested prior to sunset as that is the beginning of a new day.

(sigh)

I think I'll go get a cup of coffee.

You must not post in Theo a lot outside this thread or you would understand that a "hello" from Melitac - or anyone else - is intended to mean all that and more. And, "I disagree," from many regulars is a subtle way of questioning the criminal history of your entire lineage.
