Praying here too, Ben. I hope she'll stop feeling sorry for him and call the police! John's blind, but certainly not helpless! I hope you'll really lay some groundrules if and when she comes back. She needs to grow up. As so many people said yesterday, love shouldn't be confused with all the fluttery feelings of a new relationship. Marriage is a commitment precisely because those feelings don't last. Clearly, she needs Christian counseling to move her towards more realistic expectations. You remind me of Hosea, who went after his adulterous wife Gomer. Go back and read the story.

We're praying, Ben, for God to be with you every moment. If you can't take the trailer when you get Lynn I hope at least you can get all the paperwork. But if at all possible get the trailer away from John lest he damage it for spite. You may have things you need to learn from counsellors and others to help you through all this, but we are learning a lot from you as well, Ben. Your have our prayers, and our respect and admiration.

((((((((((Ben)))))))))))) I can So relate to Lynn's feelings of thinking she "needs to take care of him" out of pity for him. I married someone once that I didn't love and hardly liked although I made myself believe that I was just being overprotective and not letting myself have those feelings and that they would come. They didn't. Only resentment...especially when he treated me AND my daughter poorly. I am definitely praying for her!!! AND for you and the rest of the family, of course. It's not the ONLY thing I or any of us can do, it's the BEST thing. I agree with Deb... this does ring a familiarity with Hosea and Gomer. Thank the Lord Lynn DOES have a husband that is loving her through this as hard as it is sometimes and listening to GOD'S voice over any others. Praying. Love ya, brother.

Yes! Thank you God for bringing Lynn home. Please give both Ben and Lynn patience and grace as they begin the difficult work of rebuilding their marriage. Please bring healing to that home, Lord.

I'm so rejoicing that Lynn is home! But we need to pray that God will protect both of them from John. He sounds dangerous and unscrupulous to me. I'm angered by the way he exploited his disability in order to manipulate Lynn. Not a good thing. Let's keep praying. This isn't the last battle for Ben and Lynn, but prayerfully it's the decisive one!

Thank you, Ben, for letting Sharon relay the blessed information that Lynn is back home. We of course will all continue to pray for both of you and also Kayla and others. We have a mighty God Who can do things beyond our imagination. We are so thankful for Lynn being back with you, and away from John. Lord, you know the steps Ben and Lynn need to take. Guide them and bless them as only You can. Thank you for bringing them into our lives through this forum so that we might have the privilege of praying for them.
