This coming Saturday!! There will be only a few doo wop songs. It's not his primary thing; they are performed only a couple per concert, I understand. It will be about an hour concert, then we're going out to eat.

Please pray for me that God would and will comfort me and that I could find my part and not look like it's hurting while I'm singing or that I don't stand there looking dumbfounded. I covet your prayers!!

Since you are singing in a Nursing Home I don't think that I would tell the joke you put on the geezer thread . I was going to tell you to picture the audience in their underwear but in Nursing Homes that just may be true

Tina, how many times does the Bible say FEAR NOT, what do you have to worry about, you are going as God's ambassador. Will be praying!

Status: offline 		Well, in about a half-hour I am leaving to go to the Gandy's, and from there to the venue (I wanted to just say Nursing home--but I didn't want to feed Kerr's sense of humor.... ) My first concert, guys!! And that is how I'm feeling about it......Please be praying for us as we sing, and that it will either encourage a Christian or help a Sinner to find the Saviour. Isn't that what it's all about?

Status: offline 		Well, I suppose you all want to know how the concert went, don't you?? It went okay. I found I need to work on some parts, but best of all, I was barely nervous at all!! I actually enjoyed the sing, even. I have this in my blood, guys, and it's not gonna go away any time soon!! I will just keep working at it!! I am not terribly displeased with my performance today, but like I said, it needs more work.

We sang to about 18 people; 2 of them being Les's mom and Joyce's mom. What do you expect? It was a nursing home!

Then we all went to Old Country Buffet afterward. Ugh! I am still so full!!

Next practice, Les wants me to bring one of my favorite solo songs so he can get a copy and start working on finding a harmony part in it for him and Joyce, and it will be one of my *solo* group songs, if you know what I mean!

So that was the evening. I think I covered it pretty well. Hopefully by next sing (March 17th at a Baptist Church in Battle Creek) I will have my parts down even better. I hope each and every sing gets better! Any questions?
