Just a question.........would any of you, if, say, you went to a Gospel concert, and you learned that one of the members of a group was selling original pics--pretty nature pics--say about 20-25 pics--with Bible verses on CD, to be used as either screensaver pictures or else for desktop background pics on your computer for oh, let's say $20, would you buy it? And what if they had a little "catalog" of examples so that you could see the pics before you bought it.........would you guys buy something like that?

Congratulations on the new home Tina.

Find the nearest hardware store and start collecting some simple tools. Fixing small problems can give you a sense of accomplishment.

As far as you screensaver question goes. I would be more inclined to sell the pictures on note cards. You can print up the photos with verse on them and put them on blank note cards that can be bought at photo supply places. They also sell the display sleeves that go with them. And depending on the cost, I would sell them 1 for $3, 2 for $5 and 5 for $10.

I don't understand what you mean. They would be ripped from the CD to the hard drive. How would they put a little printed picture on their computer, esp. if they don't have a scanner?

And why would I sell them printed? I could print them on photo paper and frame them and sell them that way. This is something (the CD idea) that I wanted to sell at our product table.

I think you could sell note cards easier than a screensaver CD. I would think that most people who have a computer and a digital camera think they could make their own screensavers or they could get them free off the internet. And $20 to $25 seems a little high for an impulse purchase for a secondary product, considering you primary product would be music CD's.

Cards would appeal to those people who do not have a computer. And cards are something that people can share with other.

Well she doesn't make squat on the magnets. Like $.50 for one or 3 for $1.00.....just enuf to buy more magnet sheets and make more magnets. so that's like 99% CD sales, 1% magnets. Or more like 99.5% CD sales, and 1/2% magnets. Yeah, she's really raking in the dough on that hobby. lol

Well you can try the CD screensavers. My suggestion is to price them at or below at the price that you sell you music CD's.

Wow! Found this on page 11!

Well, we start recording our new project next month! We are going slow and carefully, to make it really good--something we can be proud of!

It wil hopefully be done and ready by Spring 2009.
