Thanks Santa for the first report, looking to hear from a lot of the others before the day is over. Know y'all had a great time. Tony's probably will never be the same again. Glad Kirk could take care of y'all, I know it was a big chore for him the way some of you act.

What I want to know is did Kirk take my advice or not.

I don't think the surprise guests were able to make it. . . I didn't hear who they were. . .

I don't have but a few minutes, but here's a not-too-fancy video I made of the pictures/video I got at the meet-and-eat yesterday at Tony's! It was nice to get to see some of my forums friends again and to meet some that I hadn't met before. Kirk really worked hard to take excellent care of us and you'll see him in several of the pictures, too. The video is first and then the pictures, so don't think you're finished when the video ends . . . .

Trying to watch video. Going to let it play thru minimized and then see if it will play thri for me.

James and family and Gary joined us at church today. James made it for sunday school class also. Sorry the others could not make it but understand.

Ruth, sorry we did not get to tell you goodbye last night. After concert everyone scattered and went their own way. But thanks for coming down. Hope you had fun and come see us again.

Good to meet Lynn's mom also. She sat closest to us and got to talk with her a good bit. She ordered first and got her food last. But when you order HB at Tony's it is slow cooked and does take longer. But worth the wait.

Just had to post that for a certain law man.

Diana, sorry we did not get to see y'all after the concert either or Lynn or Christi. But we did see Lynn and Christi during intermission. So glad all of you were here.

Donna, we missed you being here. Saw your post about hubby realizing you did not come. Sweet of you to want to stay at home with him.

Will just have to post as I think of things. Up way too late last night and back up early for church this morning. Going now to recliner to watch Braves and the race. Will post more later.

Thanks to Lynn and Christi for planning our get together. It is always fun to meet posters for the first time this weekend. And to see poster friends again that we had met before.

Everything went very smoothly at Tony's yesterday, service from Kirk was excellent, food was delicious and fellowship even better than all the other. I would like to personally thank all those that participated in our get together. Those that traveled many miles and the ones that lived close by. Biggest meet and eat we have had so far. Each one has been special.
Thanks you all. God Bless.

We had such a wonderful time!

It's funny that the whole thing started as a joke between Lynn and me and then it turned only half way serious and then it was fer real!

The food was great as always. I had the "little T" burger...might have eaten half of it and the squash casserole was worth the wait. Wish we could buy a big 'ol pan of that to take home.

Kirk was fabulous as always. He said something about the gratuity not being included in our checks and we told him (I think he already knew) that we had discussed taking good care of servers at great length here in the forums.

It was so much fun to see friends again and to meet new ones...we had a ball!

Welcome. I have one or two more to use but am running out of time for them because had to use Tony showing those HB's to get the appetite going for the meet and eat.

Safe travels on the way home tomorrow.

Thanks; I'll tell the pilot to fly extra careful.

I'm probably not going to be online very much the rest of today.

I just got home from homechurch about 30 minutes ago. C. is out doing a wedding, but when she comes home, we're going to put something on the grill, and then we're both going to go to bed early.

I have to be at the airport by 5:30 tomorrow morning; and it's about a 45 minute drive (and that doesn't even include getting up and gettting ready and dressed) . . . and God Bless C. - she's not a morning person at all. I told her I was going to take the AllTrans into the airport and she nixed that idea. (AllTrans is pretty much a shuttle bus that picks people up at motels and takes them to airports and vice-versa.

I'm zoning resting a bit right now before I need to get up and make a salad and then start packing.
