I keep telling her to get in here. You'd think she'd listen, eh?

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooo Everyone! Maggie, will you STOP getting people all riled up over here! Just kidding. I think...... PC, I like your flip flops. They are cute! Trish, I never got your email. Where did you send it to? I'll have to give you my regular email if you want that. Mikey, i'm not sure if there is going to be any more camping stories. I'll have to explain that one in a bit. Helloooooooooooo Bill and Ben! And no, Leah has not told me about the changing of the thread title. She did a very good job of keeping it a secret. I won't tell on the person who really told me! You can't get that out of me one little bit! LOL!! Infact, i'm actually staying up late tonight to write a post for the thread. Not sure how much I will get done yet. I'm starting to get sleepy but I don't want to go to sleep yet! I sound like a little kid don't I? LOL. Well, you all know that I am on oxygen while I am asleep, right? I now have to use it while I am awake and moving around. When i'm up and moving around my oxygen level drops. I only found that out when I set up an appointment with my lung Doctor so that she could fill this form out that I needed to send in to our electric company. And we got to talking and one thing lead to another. The next thing I knew I was going to have a chest exray done (which is allready done) and that I needed to make an appointment with my heart Doctor (thats all ready done to). Now I go back to see my lung doctor May 19th. And I get pushed to the front of the line. When I had my appointment they had me walk around with this oxygen sensor thing on my finger (it tells about the level of the oxygen going through your body) and sure enough it dropped low. So much so that the doctor set up for me to be wearing portable oxygen tanks when I am out of the house. I have to wear the tanks while doing things like shopping, walking even just sitting. When I am at home I am on oxygen constantly. I won't know much more until the May 19th when I go back and see the lung doctor. That's why Maggie set up the title the way she did. Because I am constantly on oxygen now. Sooooooooooooooo Mikey, there may not be any more camping stories to tell. Sorry. I think I should post this one before it gets to long.

Mo, it's great to have you back here again! Could you send me your regular email address please? I've tried emailing you several times, and wondered why you never replied. I hope you're better soon.

Update on Mo: I just spoke with Bo this morning and it seems Mo has had quite an ordeal. She was admitted Monday night midnight thru emergency for severe stomach pain. Tuesday was spent going thru various tests, etc., and Bob said they actually did the surgery Wednesday morning. Apparently there were some complications they hadn't counted. They wound up removing both her gall bladder and her appendix. The surgery itself went fine, but Mo is still unable to keep food down, and her digestive system is still not working. Bob said if they couldn't get her bowels moving today they would give her a suppository. I know this is vital after any type of abdominal surgery. They will have to make sure all is working before they release her. He said they've been getting her up to eat, but that she just is picking at her food -- she's very exhausted -- to the point of not being able to stay awake. Of course, she's still not keeping anything down anyway. Please continue to pray for Mo -- and Bo as he's now having to take time off from his job. He actually was on vacation when this all started, but had to go back to work -- Thursday, I believe. He has, however, been able to spend most days and/or evenings with her. I told Bo I'd post an update in here, and we'd all keep her in our prayers.

ANOTHER UPDATE ON MO: Bo called this morning . . . Mo was seemingly doing ok yesterday, had even gotten up and taken a walk down the hall after they cut her pain meds so she could stay awake. Then at 4:30 this morning, the hospital called Bo and said they'd moved her to the cardiac unit because her heartrate shot up to 174 . . . they've now gotten it down some, but it's still hovering between 90 and 134, which is still way too high. They have no idea what happened, but will be contacting her doctor this morning. Please continue to pray for her.

Another update: I talked with Bob tonight and Mo is still not doing well. She's up walking a bit, even doing some therapy, but her bowels still aren't working, even tho she is eating and drinking some, and they must be working for her to leave the hospital. The doctors are concerned and doing all they can to help that out, but nothing is working. Also, she is still very, very weak and tired. I asked Bob how he is holding up and he admitted that he is very tired. His boss has been apologetic in not being able to give him some more time off, but he has no one to take his place. He is allowing him to leave work as early as possible after he finishes teaching; he said generally that's only about 30 minutes earlier, but that does help. Bob wanted everyone to know they are still in great need of prayer, that they very much covet and appreciate all those prayers.
