Mo, I'm glad that everything is going down so well with the floor. I'm glad too, that the cortisone injections are helping you too. Please let us know how you go with the lung doctor.

Hellooooooooooooooooo every one! Helloooooooooooo Maggie, Trish and Ben! I'm back from the lung doctor speciallist. She wants me to try 2 different type of inhalers. I take one 2 times a day (morning, evening) and the other one on as, when ever I need it basis. Like when I am getting tired or starting to do a lot of house work. My Doctor also wants to do an oxygen level sleep test one night in my home. They will have some one come over and put this monitor device on my finger while I sleep and then they will come over and take it off the next morning. I don't mind doing that test but I need to leave the house to take Bo to the train station. And that is earlier in the morning. To give you an example I see the sun rise in the morning and now I see the sun set in the evening! Poor Bo only gets to see half of the sun setting or sun rising. I will have to ask questions about that. She also mentioned that maybe me sleeping with oxygen on at night might help. Maybe that is why she is wanting this tent done. Bo and I are going on a date night tonight. I promised him that he would be able to pick out any type of restaurant that HE wants to go. I'm not exactly sure what I have just got myself into. We were gonna go camping this weekend but with the mosquitos being so bad we decided not to. Another person was going with us to but he had to cancel. So we just decided not to go, thats why I am having the date night. Bo was very very disappointed. Have a blessed weekend very one!

Helloooooooooooooooooooo every one! Hi Trish! Bo and I got side tracked from doing our date night last Friday. This Friday I think we will stay home and enjoy ourselves instead of going out. Saturday the people will be back to finish our floor! Woooooooohoooooooooooooooo! After that comes the task that I have been dreading and that is putting every thing back in its place. Now we are thinking something here. We have a dinette with a small kitchen table and a dining room with a big kitchen table. We are talking about making the dining room into my home office. That way my computer and every thing else that is associated with the home office is away from the living room. It will also make it look much bigger that way too. So, I don't know i'm still thinking about it. I'm also thinking that if we have guests over the kitchen table would not be big enough for all of us, but also if we do entertaine we could also set up our card table and chair set. Oh well. Any suggestions? My lung doctor appointment went well. She prescribed 2 inhalers for me to use and set up a oxygen level test that is done over night. I guess she wants to see if I am loosing any oxygen during the night? I don't know. Anyways the test is Thursday night. A person will come and bring this device that is put over a finger. When I go to sleep that night I will put it on my finger and won't take it off till she come back for it the next day probably. No wires or hook ups is needed as far as I know. That is kinda cool. will let you all know how it goes later on. Well thats about all for now. Thanks for the prayers!

Hey Mo! I've been wondering how you are doing. Yay! You've almost got all your floor done! You'll be happy campers. (Not that you'll be camping on your wooden floors!) LOL! I'm glad your lung doctor is getting things sorted out for you. I'm sure the sleep test will give her good information too that will help them to care for you really well. Will have to think about the home office/dining area thing. How much do you entertain?

Hi Tirsh! We don't enterain all that much. And if we do it is only one or 2 people. We just don't have the parking facility to go all out and have lots of people over at the same time. Which is okay with me. Bo and I don't like big group gatherings anyways. We like small intimate get togethers with other people. I hope that answers your question.

I guess if you only host small gatherings, and not very often, it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a home office there. If you entertained more, I think that would be another story.

Mo, why not share Bo's office with him? Surely there's room for both of you in there. And then you'd be together when you're both on the computer.

Hellooooooooooooooooooooo every one! Well we made the dining room into the den all though I don't think my parents realise that just yet. They came over the other day and saw my computer in the dining room and the living room changed around but did not say anything about, wether it looked good or bad. They probably didn't like it but wouldn't say anything. Oh well. We like it! Wednesday I had a phone call from an oxygen place that delivers oxygen to people who need it. So they call me and tell me that my lung doctor has ordered me to be on oxygen while I sleep at night. That ws the first time I ever heard of that! I was told by them, not my doctor, (guess they forgot to call me) that when I sleep at night my oxygen level goes way below the normal point. So I am to wear and breathe oxygen while I am sleeping. So far it seems to be helping as I have more energy during the day. All though this is only the second night of me using oxygen. I seem to be having more energy and have noticed that I was not breathing properly at night. Maybe taking in oxygen while I sleep will be a good hting. Just thought I would let you know. We are doing good over. Still trying to get things back to nromal from the remodiling. Well thats about all. Every one have a great blessed weekend!

How often do you need to get the cortisone shots?

Not sure about that Trish. I will be calling my back doctor near the end of the month to make an appointment with him. Edited to add. As long as I need the shots maybe. Not really sure.

I've had 3 cortisone shots in my shoulder. Not allowed any more. Have to go to an orthopaedic specialist. For now though, my doctor has put it in the too hard basket.

Oh wow! So you do know what it feels like to get those shots! Not fun are they? As long as they help though. I heard some thing like that too. But, my Mom has gotten 6 or 7 of those shots in one years time. I guess it depends on circumstances and people? I'll try to find out soon.

I think it's just here that there's a limit of 3 for a bursar. (I've got bursitis in my shoulder).
