Please, forgive my ignorance, but is that an actual name (such as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints or some other denomination) or are you saying you just get together with a bunch of people who say they believe in Jesus Christ?
Your second part is correct. The church I attend is nothing more than a body of believers that follow Jesus Christ and try to live as He did. Others call it non-denominational.

I'm not good at elaborating on that subject why some people believe that he talks about having a new way to have eternal life. All I know is what he teaches is sound with a heart driven basics of loving God doing what God ask us to do. Something I found in the scriptures way back in the 60's and I'm glad that God is opening the eyes of some his followers to this message. You must walk in love as he does. I been to a many of churches here in America. And heard someone say why is that trash doing in my church. I went home that night and prayed to God and ask him how could someone profess that they knew the scriptures so well could say such things about a person that they never meet before that time.

I currently attend a Church of Christ. I consider myself a member of the loose fellowship of churches called the Christian Church/Church of Christ (Independent). I grew up attending the Episcopal Church and according to the Episcopal priest here I am still a member of that church. In my past I have been a member of a Southern Baptist Church and a Presbyterian Church (PCUSA).

I currentley attend a Southern Baptist but I am strongly considering at least trying a Methodist Church in my town.

Southern Baptist, but I believe there is more to a church than it's denominational affiliation.
The last two churches I have attended (I moved) were both Southern Baptist, not because of the denomination, but because of the doctrine that was presented there by the pastors, staff and congregation.

I don't "go to church" Simply because I believe church is something we are as followers of Christ, not some place we go. I do get together with other Christians, but as friends and family.

I am a Church of God girl but was unsure whether it is the wwchurch of God....
so I just decided to list it here...
I was non denominational untill 4 years ago and because of no accountability church split...I really like the accountability the leadership has in a denomination...
grew up southern Baptist but The Lord changed my path...
