For all who do not know Harold and I do not have either parent and this particular Grandmother is the only grandparent we have left. Should be a blessing in many ways to each of them. Grandma talks about this every time I call her.

Ok so I talked to Harold today and I remembered to ask him about this finally. He told me about a boy that sang with his family and that the boy was good. He said the boy did not get to sing with him. Is this the one you are asking about or is this something different?

Wow, I was very surprised to see this thread. I love the Kingsmen and have listened to their new CD about 4 or 5 times. I have seen the Kingsmen in person 11 times, most of which were at my local high school in the late 90's, but I have seen them at Dollywood and other venues in East Tenn. since. My favorite was being able to see them film the live video for You're Not Alone at the Tennessee Theatre back in 97. Unbelievable night. J. Bazel Mull introduced the guys, and it was probably my favorite arrangement of singers, Ray Dean, Parker (The best baritone EVER), Brian Hutson, and Chris Collins.
I was reading above about the new Live DVDs. Besides EBay does anyone know an where I can purchase these. I havent gotten a chance to see the new group live, and would love to add these DVDs to my collection. I hate to keep going on, but does anyone know how many other newer DVDs they have. I have most of the older ones, like Kings Gold 1 and 2 (new DVD releases), Kings Gold 3 and 4, Georgia Live, 40th Anniversary Concert, Reunion Finale, Georgia Live, Kingsmen Christmas, Beyond the Clouds, You're Not Alone, Live at the Alabama Theatre, and LIve at the Peace Center. (These are DVDS copied off my old VHS tapes).

Any info on new DVD's much appreciated.
God Bless.

Terrific. I have been reading some of the old posts, and wondered, is that 50th Anniv. DVD still available from the group?
thanks and God Bless

and BTW its great to be on a Kingsmen forum.

Not only are they great singers, but have always had good guys. Back when they came to our local HS, one of my teachers/coaches was responsible for bringing them in, so I got to go back stage and talk to the guys, and hang out with them before the shows. Have a good home video of a show from 98. Got to meet Hamill that way...

Funny story. I had just bought the Beyond the clouds video, and was walking down the hall toward where the bus was, out back. Hamill walks up and nods and says what video is that?

I showed him and he said "You should've got a good video like the Mckameys instead of wasting your money on that" and gave me a big Jim Hamill grin and patted me on the back..
That night he did "Never Been this homesick before" with Randy Miller....what a performance....

It has always been that way. even before Aaron took it on. Their website has never been done correctly. It is always outdated and their new features are always COMING SOON

Just curious as to why a MySpace site would be recommended over the groups own website. Any explanation why their's is not up to date?

My guess would be because MySpace is so much easier to update and probably has a little more flexibility for non-computer geeks!
