Forevermore by Cathy Marie Hake.

Finally ran out of Janet Oke books Trish?

I finally finished the first book in Lawhead's Pendragon series. They packed a lot of words into that little paperback. So last night I started book 2, "Merlin". Hope it's as good as the first.

Just Finished Wild at Heart by John Eldredge for the second time. But I reread parts almost daily that hit home. I'm in the middle of Boundaries by Dr. Cloud and Dr. Toensend. After I finish it I will be starting Waking the Dead by Jonh Eldredge.

Will be reading the Fish book for work soon. I read it a couple years back at my old job but now my new boss is going to have us read it too.

I highly recommend the following for your son:

The Bible Answer Book for Students By: Hank Hanegraaff

&

The Case for Christ, Student Edition By: Lee Strobel, Jane Vogel

Let me know if you would like more recommendations.

I have several books I am reading right now - during my quiet time with God each night, I try to read a chapter in each book. I've found that doing it this way gives me strength and supplication - as well as easing my burdens and giving me peace before I pray and go to bed.

"The Power of a Praying Parent" (and the workbook that goes with it) - Stormie O'Martian (this is the only one that I read a chapter each week; I'm trying to follow the "course" that goes with it.)
"Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World" - Joanna Weaver (I have already read "Having a Mary Spirit" and loved it so much, I decided to purchase this one as well."
"The Search for Significance" - Robert S. McGee (I've read the book and now am doing the workbook each night.)
"Building Successful Relationships" - Michael Fletcher
"Traveling Light" - Max Lucado

Just read The Other Side of the Bridge by Mary Lawson (for my book group). It is a great book to discuss as it shows the danger of carrying a root of bitterness.

Am continuing now with Galileo's Daughter.

funny-girl: That is a great book. I read it 4 years ago right after my Grandpa died. Very comforting.

Taliesin by Stephen Lawhead

I just finished this one last week. To me it seemed a little slow in the beginning, but overall I loved it. I was just starting Merlin (book 2 in the series) when I heard The Hobbit calling my name again. So I'm reading Tolkien for the 40th time.
