60 warr LFM - BWL pug... must have vent... ;P lvl 60 warrior in full tier 2 but i quit about 6 months ago. Raiding can feel like more of a job than a game. An amazing achievement in gaming as it opened up MMOGs to so many new gamers. WoW was my first and probably my last. MMOG addiction is as strong as any chemical addiction! Still have an active account due to a cousin that at Blizz. Was on Gorefiend. where are you? WoW is teh pwn...

have any of you folks been reading the Fox Trot comic strip? The cartoonist likes picking on "World of Warquest" and this week they have been teasing about beta testing the expansion game. Funny stuff!

Hi.. My name is Haruka and I'm a MMORPG addict. It all started for me 6 yrs ago when I noticed my husband was spending more and more time with this new game he got called Dark Age of Camelot. I was curious to see what was so fun about it, so I started a character and poked around Hibernia. One thing led to another, I joined an amazing guild, followed that guild to World of Warcraft where they continue playing this day. Sadly I live out in the boonies and Dial up internet is all we can get atm so my poor little nightelf druid is collecting dust for the time being. I Really like this game, and all the friends I have made over the last 6 years. Big WOOT! to all the wow players out there. And it's nice to know there are Christian guilds too.

today's fox trot still carries the beta testing story line. Elpenor said that it is sad and funny because he has met kids online just like that. btw, I have my first shiney weapon. But it only shows up in hand to hand combat. Pout

I'm working my lvl 60 human Pally on Terenas through the higher level instances now with the guild. I've been picking up Lightforge armor for him and clearing some quests off. I just got my first relic. A libram for Flash of Light. It boosts the healing while the mana used is the same as before. I've bben working on my Night Elf rogue and Human priest on Thorium Brotherhood for the last few days. I have my rep to honored in all the Alliance areas and I'm only lvl 28 with both. I keep shifting between the same level areas in each of the 3 Alliance areas and it seems to be keeping the reputation levels fairly close. I am noticing that I gain a few extra levels by doing this. No area seems to be to difficult. I'm about even with all of the NPC's and quests also. It's a nice change from running as fast as I can through the levels and just barely making it..

I am doing that rep thing with my undead warlock on Frostwolf (a PVP server). I am honored in Undercity, and oh so close to Friendly in Orgrimmar and with Dark Spear Trolls, dead middle neutral in Thunderbluff, but I am only a lvl 18 and just started this idea at lvl 12. I am working all the same level areas at the same time (mostly) to try and get the rep up. Oh, but my main char (lvl 54) is honored in UC and ORG and soon TB. Almost exalted in UC. A bit to go in ORG for exalted. A long way to go for TB rep. Unfortunately, he has taken a back seat to my other char (above) on the PVP server for the moment.

keeping things even? I have to get my gnome rouge up higher then. I was surprised at how differant a rogue and a hunter fight. But I really like having my pet tiger do some of my fighting. And my troll is way down at nube level. My sweety, he has a 60 hunter. Course, he had a much earlier start. But we have toons at the same level and that is what hunt together with. Perhaps after Christmas my daughter and my sis-in-law can join us. My bro-in-law bands up with us now and then. I like to play for the social aspects, not so much for getting higher reps, etc, as quickly as I can. I want it to be fun, not work

Sometimes I get a bit tired of quests all the time. Then I'll switch to helping other folks out until I'm ready to quest again.

Speaking of helping out... Remember how it stinks to be a newb and have no bags? One day I farmed a bunch of linen and made about 24 linen bags. I went over to the newbie and lowbie areas to give them away. About 6 people were happy to get them. The others either didn't want them because they were only six slot, or they already had 12 slot bags (apparently a lot of twinks on Thrall). I ended up selling most of them. Another time, I was over in Westfall I think, with my high level Horde mage. There was a struggling lowbie human mage having a serious hard time with the Defias over there. And even though I could not talk to them (gutterspeak vs common) they realized I was trying to help. So I followed them a bit and whenever they got in serious trouble, I went in and popped about 4-5 Defias at once, taking them out instantly. Did that for about 20 minutes while they finished their quests. When they were done, they bowed, I waved, and I rode off into the sunset... er... something like that :-)

Had a horde guy as a stealthed wolf follow us around for awhile. We were trying to raise my level to 21 so I could tame a bear. We hunted, he skinned. It was a bit weird at first but no problem for us. btw, I sold my little bit of "bling" since it did no damage and bought another dagger.

yippee, my sis-in-law is playing now, too. I listen to the voice as her DH helps her figure out how to play. It takes me back to my newbie days not so long ago. Trying to see through bushes and running into rocks, I feel her pain. Four of us ganged up on some level 5 beasties. Went through them like a hot knife through butter. And they used some good natured teasing as well ( I am not used to playing my rouge yet so I haven't established much battle strategy).

How about this one? You move into an area with higher level NPCs but they're spaced far enough apart that you are able to lure one away and kill him. Every once in a while you aggro 2 or 3, as the one you picked calls for help running after you. No problem. You've been able to turn and run away all night from these slow pokes. Except once you get deep into their territory. Then you lag out. Your screen freezes as you turn to run......for 2 minutes. However the audio is still working realtime and you can here the mother of all defeats coming. As soon as the fight is over and you are dead, your computer comes back to life to let you see all the bad guys running off with your remains moldering. Ah..Lag. Yes....Lag. Or worse. A lower level area and you're helping someone out. You've been taking on 3 or 4 at a time. Your Superman! Until your screens freezes for 2 to 3 minutes.

I had fun with the trick-or-treating on WOW. My DH had a magic wand and turned me into a beautiful bossom pirate gal. But when the spell was about to wear off, he used the wand again and then he was following a short bald ancient green leper gnome... poor baby. In real life, how come no one came to my doorbell wearing a night elf costume? It's a big hit at Dragon Con.

We were on a roll taking out some bears trying to get my level up so that I could get growl for my pet. And then I hear, "shoot them" and I reply " I can't. I 've used up all my arrows!" and believe me, I started out with alot of arrows. Time to run.
