this links us to the thread in Morality and Ethics...again, someone is wondering if games like WoW lead to witchcraft...

Anything done in excess can jeopardize your relationship with the Almighty. To say it leads directly to witchcraft is absurd. To say it can't lead to witchcraft is naive. So, play it like a game and remember to keep real life as your real life.

Getting back to the "ghost wolf pet" thing. I think I may know what you're talking about now. There's a Draenei quest in Azure Watch that summons a ghosty wolf that leads you to a stone. I hadn't thought of trying to train the wolf as a pet, but I suppose it's possible.

Ugh...I hate Tuesdays. Incidentally, have any of you ever played the dice-and-board game Dragonraid? DR came out in the 80s as a Christian alternative to D&D. It was actually a pretty cool game but I didn't get to play it that much since it was my friend's game. I know it would cost a TON of money, but I think it would cool to try and make DR into a MMORPG like WoW. Have you guys played any other RPG games?

nope, he isn't talking about the tauren quest with the ghost wolf. There was a blue see through wolf trotting around Iron Forge in front of the AH yesterday. It was a hunter's pet. Still not sure where to get them though. Wowwiki might give a lead.

Oh yeah...I forgot about the Tauren quest. That might work, too. And the wolf that is summoned is blue and see through, so...

but I don't think that you can tame him. His one goal in life is to lead you up a hill. Nothing more, nothing less. Kinda like the creatures that lead you around Azuremist Island. That is a fun quest.

My husband and I were in two AV battles tonight, the 50 -60 battlegrounds. We had a bunch of 51;s in the group too. But we won both games and won well!

Did you hear about the upcoming changes to the system requirements?

A couple of my ingame friends were quoting a magazine interview with Blizzard.
Apparently they are going to change the software to require a Duo core
processor to work soon. Apparently some of the game lag is dealing with older
PCs as much as the Blizz servers.

I have duo but had to upgrade my video card. I justified it because I do other visual work on my 'puter too. I use a wide screen monitor.

I can hear it now, my wonderful husband already wants the dell laptop set up for WoW. We joke about it. A bit too expensive for our pocket now.

I have a 7 yr old Dell with SDR memory. I'm afraid I'll be offline for a while.

Only when we have to get that One Last Mob (y'all know what I am talking about) and then we have to hurry to the door to get somewhere on time. My Husband and I don't like to be late and gaming is about the only thing that will have us push the time envelope.

Other than that, and the funny comments at work when WoWers talk to each other, it hasn't interfered. Granted, since I don't watch night time television much anymore I can't chat about the latest shows like I used to. Would you count this as a problem?

No. I don't care to hear about new movies or TV shows in the works so much anymore though. My movie and TV watching has gone way down over the last few years.

'Anyone else out there in Stormwind kissing the guards? My husband doesn't usually play the seasonal quests so I run them myself. Just curious how anyone else is doing.

First... Whats a DD and DH? Second... uh... ok, I forgot my second question. I've never played WOW before. seen many others play it though(even at school and work, lol.). I've played a few MMORPGs in the past. City of Heroes, Rose online( I think that's the name.), Silk Road(was free :D)... from what I recall. I never really had an urge to play WOW. was never into elves n all that... until I played the elder scrolls: morrowind. I can testify that MMOs are addictive, not to mention consuming. I had a friend that played about 40 hrs straight once. To have total control over a character, customized to your liking, to do the things they can do is loads of fun. plus they grow in ability. It was cool while it lasted. But, then grew redundant. I don't think I'll go back to MMORPGs... you never know though. I am kinda stuck on call of duty 4 online play currently lol

I do the seasonal quests when they come around. It takes me a couple of days to rotate all my characters through it.

My sons and their cousins started a pvp guild with their level 39's. They won so many battlegrounds working together that they recently took off all of their armour before joining the battle. They still won 3 - 0 . BTW, they are alliance!

I'm a WoW player as well. I play Alliance on Dragonblight server. My main is a lvl 50 Draenai Shaman. :) Which is also my favorite class.

I've got some really close friends who also play WoW and talking over guild chat is one of the ways we stay in touch with one another.

My husband is a hunky draenai shaman. When I play as his heal-bot, we are dangerours in Altarac Valley. But now that he has both of his hammers we are gonna level them up to 69. Welcome to the thread.
