Just letting everyone know - I won't be on much at all for quite a while.

My computer has decided it won't turn on and so I won't be on for probably several months until I have funds to repair it.

I'm posting from my brother's computer currently, but I won't be able to use it, I'm just sneaking in a post while I can.

I shouldn't have, but I wanted to let you folks know in advance that I'm OK, nothing's gone wrong, aside from that, and that I'm fine.

*blows cobwebs off thread for the umpteenth time this year*

How are you all?

I've FINALLY got an interim solution going, we've got a temporary computer up and running. In an interesting irony it's almost identical specwise to my old computer (except for the ancient onboard graphics card, that is...)

Still, it boots, and it's more than quick enough for web browsing, word processing and the like, which is useful and might actually help in keep me on track when I'm back at TAFE...

With regard to TAFE, it's all sorted except for actual enrolment (the course I'm going for is one which is basically "turn up and enrol").

It's good to have that part for the most part sorted, but next step is Centrelink... Oh boy is THAT going to be a nightmare. If there's one thing I cannot stand, it's government red tape... Oy vey...

I haven't been on for a while because this computer (the temporary one) has been having issues of its own. Thankfully it looks like I should be getting my computer repaired in the not too distant future - my uncle has offered to get it done (he works full-time and can afford the expense).

Hopefully it'll be repaired within the next month. I've really missed you folks!
