We had a wonderful day at the beach. An elegant lunch of baked stuffed lobster, roasted potatos and green beans, followed by chocolate mousse. Then we wheeled along the beach. I'll try to get photos on my blog tomorrow. (Got other plans for tonight. )

I'm having an awful time getting my blog site to work. I'm trying to post photos from yesterday. So far, it's not cooperating. Very frustrating!

I fought all afternoon with the website, but I finally managed to post a blog entry with photos from our anniversary celebration yesterday. Please view it at http://joyfullychristianladysmuseum.blogspot.com/, and don't hesitate to leave comments.

The top link gave me the error message, but the one in Deb's signature works. They look exactly the same to me, so I don't know why only the siggy one works.

Anyway, great pictures, Deb. It looks like you had a great anniversary.

I figured out the problem with the link. I don't know why I didn't see it sooner, because I've done the same thing. There was a comma after com/ that was picked up with the link. If you run your cursor over it, you'll see what I mean.

I just spent the afternoon/evening with a young family that plans to go to the mission field in Kenya. They're a very nice young couple with two small children and another due in October. They won't be going to the field until the baby's about 4 months old, but are raising support now. It was interesting to get to talk with them.

I bet that was interesting, Sue.

Deb, as I looked thru' your photos, it occurred to me that you're much more comfortable in your skin than I am in mine. Gives me something to ponder. I toss any picture that doesn't flatter me. I toss a lot of pictures.

Sue--how neat that you spent time with the missionary couple. Our church has 32 missionaries, and I'm blessed to serve as their email contact. We support a couple in Kenya with two small kids. There's contact with Muslims, but I dare not share details on such a public forum. Several of our missionaries serve in Islamic countries. Their emails always humble me, as I see them risking their lives to bring the Gospel to these people.

Marsha, I've always been comfortable with myself. Not sure why. I do think I take good pictures. Also, I absolutely love dressing up! I feel prettier in skirts and dresses. Maybe I'm more comfortable with myself because I dress all girly. I hate New England winters because I have to wear slacks to church.

Oh...exciting news! A lady at church asked me to disciple her! Boy, am I honored! Do you think God feels this honored when we ask Him for wisdom?
