It tells me you are verrrrrrry brave.[;)]

I learned something new from your blog. I didn't know that Mother Goose was actually named Mary Goose. I thought she was a made-up figure.

bride48 -> RE: Here Comes The Bride (7/20/2006 5:53:10 PM)

Interesting what you learn in graveyards, isn't it?

Mfrog -> RE: Here Comes The Bride (7/20/2006 6:58:05 PM)

I don't like even friendly debate much, so I stay clear of tthose forums. I read there on rare times when I just pass time. My younger son just called my older son to pick him up in the next town. Evidently, he rode too far on the bike path and is too tired to ride back home. Guess who has to spring for gas money.[8|]

Hi, Deb, Praise God for the new attendant! Your blogger is great. The blonde girl looks like my granddaughter! It was interesting to read about your travel in historic settings. I haven't been on these threads much lately, so it was good to read through the posts here. I like your balanced view of fun and meaningful conversations.

bride48 -> RE: Here Comes The Bride (7/21/2006 4:39:06 PM)

I'm feeling better today. I was so TIRED yesterday! Oh, you mean I'm not 20 anymore?

Debate can hurt feelings, but it can also stimulate thinking. And I want intellectual challenges. These forums have been hard for me at times. And humbling. But I've been growing in my faith because of the challenges, and that's healthy. Some threads have caused me to realign my ideas with Scripture. Praise God. That's why I'm on these forums!

It depends on how strong I feel. Debate can really bring me down sometimes.

bride48 -> RE: Here Comes The Bride (7/22/2006 1:05:14 PM)

Okay, Sue. Takes all kinds, I guess. Anyway, I'm glad you visit my thread.

Lots of thunder storms lately...yuck! I miss California weather, which is relatively mild all year round. Alas, my husband can't travel, so I guess we're stuck in New England. I must really love him!

Hello there Deb!!![sm=wave.gif]

I stay away from those threads...[8|] You are much braver than I. It only gets me heated and I don't have time to argue with some folks who "knows it all." [>:]

bride48 -> RE: Here Comes The Bride (7/24/2006 4:12:32 PM)

Yeah, but I have learned a lot on those threads. I've started going with the attitude that I don't know it all, and that God can teach me through other posters. It makes a difference. I appreciate the intellectual challenges. And the spiritual challenges. Maybe I'm getting older, and want to be more serious about my walk with the Lord.

I like having fun, too...but I'm better at that offline. I have been known for my practical jokes, believe it or not! Ages ago, I had a friend who hated cats. For his birthday, I enlisted another friend (whom he didn't know) to call him saying, "I'm from the S.P.C.A., and we're delivering a kitten to your house today. Now, if you'll just verify your address..." He knew I was behind it. I had that reputation.

phosadaud -> RE: Here Comes The Bride (7/24/2006 4:29:49 PM)

That reminds me of a joke our pastors pulled on the youth pastor at the time (they are AWFUL to each other [:D]). The youth pastor was trying to get on "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" and was told that if he had made a certain "cut", he would be called to answer a few more questions. Well, silly him, he told the other pastors about this so of course they had to find someone the youth pastor didn't know (from the LA area) to call him up and ask him some completely off the wall questions. They also timed it so the person would call when the youth pastor was using the "facilities"..... I wish I could remember what some of the questions were, but it was really funny!

bride48 -> RE: Here Comes The Bride (7/24/2006 4:53:31 PM)

Did he get on the show?

phosadaud -> RE: Here Comes The Bride (7/24/2006 5:57:47 PM)

Nope! [:D]

slushie -> RE: Here Comes The Bride (7/24/2006 7:54:05 PM)

hey! Just stopping by. *waves*[:D]

bride48 -> RE: Here Comes The Bride (7/25/2006 2:46:24 PM)

Click the link to my blog. I did the digital painting partly with Phosadaud in mind, knowing her love for critters. Hope you all enjoy it!

phosadaud -> RE: Here Comes The Bride (7/25/2006 4:14:10 PM)

Cool Deb! I like it! [sm=biggrin.gif]

bride48 -> RE: Here Comes The Bride (7/25/2006 5:09:04 PM)

Thought you would, Phos!

bride48 -> RE: Here Comes The Bride (7/26/2006 5:22:16 PM)

Hey...I'm lonely. Anybody reading this thread?

phosadaud -> RE: Here Comes The Bride (7/26/2006 5:26:54 PM)

Now I am - of course, I'm getting ready to log off soon.... Hope to log back in tonight though! [:)]

bride48 -> RE: Here Comes The Bride (7/26/2006 6:05:08 PM)

I'm about to log off too, I think. I started a drawing of a mouse yesterday. I did its head, and it came out really cute. But now I have to draw its body, and I'm not very good at that. Notice how I'm stalling? Maybe I'll find something else to keep me busy. But I really should give the poor little creature a body, huh? We'll see...

phosadaud -> RE: Here Comes The Bride (7/26/2006 6:14:36 PM)

Well, the head is the cutest part of the mouse, so I'm sure he's not suffering too much.

2jsmom -> RE: Here Comes The Bride (7/26/2006 6:22:55 PM)

Could you cheat a little by just having him poke his head out from behind something?

stamper_ben -> RE: Here Comes The Bride (7/26/2006 10:24:34 PM)

I got cats that can take care of the mouse and then I got the dogs that can take care of the cats.

Kinda like a cartoon...[8D]

bride48 -> RE: Here Comes The Bride (7/27/2006 3:41:39 PM)

To your left is a completed mouse! Ta-dah!

phosadaud -> RE: Here Comes The Bride (7/27/2006 3:53:10 PM)

You did that with your mouse? Wow! I am so impressed! I can't even click on links half the time, let alone use my mouse to draw! Well done! [sm=thumbsup.gif]
