Hey John, you actually liked Back To The Future II, that has to be one of the all time worst sequels out there, but part III was pretty good though.
Innerspace, wow, I haven't thought about that movie in a long time!

Hi Deb. Hope you don't get too much of a storm. I'm only on for a bit. Merv just left for camp. I finished my pity party yesterday morning so I was able to send him off with a smile. I don't know how military wives manage.

Okay, the storm has past, so I can get chatty again.
Mike, I have to disagree--I thought "Back to the Future III" was the lamest of the two sequels. In my opinion, neither sequel should have been made. The original, however, was surprisingly good.
We watched "Miss Potter" again last night, and decided we have got to buy it!

I guess I simply like science fiction in general and time travel stories in particular, as writers try to make something sound sensible which doesn't really make very much sense.
Take this example of time travel. I have 5 gold coins on the table. I pick them up enter my time machine and go back in time to before I picked up those 5 coins and now put the 5 coins I took onto the table. So now there are 10 coins. Nevertheless it is fun to me to see what science fiction writers do with time travel stories. Even DebbieLynne likes ones of them: Kate and Leopold I think is the name. In it the scientist uses a time warp by the Brooklyn Bridge to travel back in time, and the inventor of the elevator follows him back to the present, which creates the problem of the elevator not having been invented for all these tall buildings.
Yup...I do like time travel fiction.

Kate and Leopold reminds me a little of the movie Enchanted. In both you have a person (or persons) winding up in a strange world (the world that is "normal" to you and me) and trying to figure out what to do in it.

It was a cute movie, Terri.
But I think "Miss Potter" is really the best movie I've seen in a very long time. I can't recommend it too strongly!

(I have to admit Deb has better taste in movies than I do. Most of the movies she really likes turn out to be ones that I enjoy, too.) 
Sorry to say, I'm a bit of a baby about it. I hate when he's gone.
