Pink Ladies are bright pink apples, with a really sweet taste and crunchy texture. I don't think I've ever had a bad one! Apples are a pretty regular part of my diet, since I can drive and eat them at the same time.

Yummy! Those are good too, for when you want something tangy......and Galas are tasty as well!

I like sharp tastes. Like extra sharp white cheddar cheese.

Hi Darcy, things are going fine for me today. Things were a mite interesting this morning when a new attendant called to say she'd gotten lost so went back home for her cell phone and to call and get new directions. She said she would be coming...but never came. Nevetheless Deb had a good time with the lady from chuch who came instead. That lady is a lot of fun.

We enjoyed lunch with my Mom and then I spent time sorting out an Avon order that came in today. That kept me busy (and out of trouble) for a couple of hours.

Then I laid down to rest and do odds and ends on the computer (including posting on a few threads). I'm able to use my lap top even when lying down in the afternoon, so that's what I do.

Have a great weekend.

You too, John!

Deb, I LOVE sharp cheddar! I like using it for toasted cheese sandwiches, on my favorite whole grain bread, "Healthnut"!

I could probably live off of meat, fruit, and cheese. Yum.

Just about this time of day (7:00 p.m.) I usually start feeling energetic and typing gets easier. But that's dinner time, and my attendant comes at 8:00 to put me to bed. Not quite fair, is it? No wonder I quit being a writer, huh?

Yeah, timing is everything, isn't it?

I'm most tired mid-afternoon and first thing in the morning. No morning glory here! I like writing in the evening, when I'm not trying to get something else done, y'know?

And there is ALWAYS something else.

John woke up with a cold, so we needed to miss church today. At least I had time to play online, which is nice. Nothing much to say here, though. Check out my blog; maybe today's entry will spark conversation.

My cold doesn't seem too bad.

Lot's of folks seem to have colds at the moment including the lady who got Deb up this morning and one of my cousins who was maybe going to help her get ready for bed tonight. I just hear from another cousin who doen'st have a cold and she's going to help DebbieLynne tonight intead. She is sort of our favorite cousin and we always enjoy having her come over.

Well, about time for getting up for supper. At moment neither of us have any idea what it will be.

From that paragraph to this we now have an idea. Hot dogs, salad, chips. Sounds good to me.

Mmmm!

Think I will cook a burger and some veggies. I'm hungry, I just don't feel all that energetic about getting up to cook.

Bummer about the cold John, I've been blessed not to get very sick this year at all, in the past I have been known to get either the yearly flu or cold!

Hope you're starting to feel better, John. Lots of colds and stomach bugs around here lately. Our preacher had a hard time getting through the sermon because he had to cough.

Hi there Deb!

I'm making my famous spaghetti for John tomorrow and he reminded me to remember to put in the ginger.

Hi everybody. Exciting snail-mail today: a letter from the boy in Indonesia that we support through Compassion International, a letter from the IRS saying our stimulus check should come Friday, and an abalone shell from a friend in California! John had never seen an abalone shell, since they aren't indigenous to New England.

I'm doing fine. Sorry I didn't get right back to you here. I started making supper and lost track of time.

Then I checked my email, and visited some websites and blogs. Sorry I stayed away so long. Actually, I was considerig playing with Paint Shop Pro, though I played all morning with it. I'm learning how to create textures, and it's fun. I get on various "kicks" with the program, and then get addicted.

Sounds fun, you'll have to put your new creations on your blog when you're ready.
