Sadly many people don't see the Left Behind books as fiction.

I actually enjoyed the first few books of that series, but I never for one minute thought that's what was going to happen. In fact, I tend to not have a lot of opinions on the end times because although I believe Revelation is True, and after it happens, we'll look back and see how it all fit together, I don't think we can do that now. Kind of like how so many Jews missed Jesus' the first time because they had elevated their interpretations to a higher level than Scripture so they missed what God was trying to tell them. And the OT was a lot easier to understand than Revelation is!

Maybe the OT is easier to understand because it is for the most part past and we see it as history. Revelation is happening and yet to be--the future can be a puzzlement. I read all the Left Behind books and I enjoyed the stories but have a hard time with those that read them like they were scripture. quote:
