Hehehe! I don't know why I find that funny, but I do...

Well, I just found out my dog and cats are in deep trouble because I microchipped them which apparently is one step away from "the mark" in Revelation... Does anyone but me sometimes think some Christians need to watch less TV and read less science-fiction?

Oy....

There are two main activities amoung humans in the evening hours. Watching T.V. is one. The other is..................well from what I have seen and the possible outcome of the alternative activity, lets just let them watch T.V.

I've avoided the Left Behind books for a reason.

I think fiction is a good thing - just not when you can't separate facts from fiction. That's what's scary...

Sadly many people don't see the Left Behind books as fiction.

I actually enjoyed the first few books of that series, but I never for one minute thought that's what was going to happen. In fact, I tend to not have a lot of opinions on the end times because although I believe Revelation is True, and after it happens, we'll look back and see how it all fit together, I don't think we can do that now. Kind of like how so many Jews missed Jesus' the first time because they had elevated their interpretations to a higher level than Scripture so they missed what God was trying to tell them. And the OT was a lot easier to understand than Revelation is!

Maybe the OT is easier to understand because it is for the most part past and we see it as history. Revelation is happening and yet to be--the future can be a puzzlement.

I read all the Left Behind books and I enjoyed the stories but have a hard time with those that read them like they were scripture.

Exactly! I think that's why we need to be cautious about getting too particular in how we interpret it.

Anyone remember the Prince Charles is the anti-Christ thread?

I don't think I do, but I can say that thread was absolutely wrong. Prince Charles is not the anti-Christ. His nose is.

With ears like that, he can hear what you're thinking, not just what you're saying.

Well, I'm not sure what else can happen to my dad's employee and her kids...

My dad called me today to tell me the newest trauma. Here is the news report - the 11 year old is the daughter of his employee who was attacked by her husband. The good news is, she's ok. The bad news is, the family is shaken up again...

Oh and apparently they discovered her husband has been using his brother's name (his brother who lives here locally) as an alias. Apparently he used that name when deported and created a HUGE long list of crimes he is wanted for under the alias. At least the police know, but I feel bad for his brother...

I'm not sure that's slow and painful enough...

I guess it would depend on where you shot them though...
