Well, I am exhausted. I slept horrible last night... My critters were just downright stinky. Asia kept knocking things down, Audrey kept trying to scratch (I clipped her yesterday so I think some clipped hairs are bugging her), Phoebe and Sadie were both being brats and hissing at everyone.... Can cats get PMS?

Post Mousie Syndrome?

Sure can! Get 'em catnip. That'll fix 'em.

Maybe you should get em another mousie so they won't have post mousie syndrome anymore.

I know they would love that but for some reason my cats chasing a poor little mouse around the house doesn't sound very fun (and finding bloody mouse parts all over the house as well)!

Well, Asia is officially in the brat stage. I always forget about this "cute" kitten stage..... Last night she was just a stinker!

I'm still really tired. I slept horrible the night before, then last night I made the mistake of reading Frank Peretti's "The Visitation". I'm also almost to the end so of course it has gotten exciting......

I love Frank Peretti's books. I haven't read any for a while though. I've got the "Visitation", but I struggle with my concentration span, so trying to read anything is pretty hard for me these days.

Well, just finished it last night. It was really good. Now, if I can just get to bed early tonight.....

Sounds like a good move.

Just a couple of posts more for me and I'd better head to bed. Coming up to 2am here for me.

We get that from the kids next door. There's times when they tease Bailey though that I don't feel so generous. Just as well more often than not, John's the one who answers the door.

My favorite is that they like to peek through the fence when my dog and I are in back (it's a wooden privacy fence).... It's kinda annoying.....

The kids just verbally tease him and then they head over to the fence. There are times when I feel like yelling back at them.

Maybe you could have a "sprinkler" accident and give them a good dousing of water..... I've thought of that often when the neighbor boys decide to play in my yard or drive without asking first.....

Would be a good idea, but there's a fairly tall fence between our yard and there's and the sprinklers don't go that far.

Boo-hoo! Another weekend just flew by. Phoebe and Asia woke me up about 5am this morning standing on top of me, side-by-side and just staring at me while purring away.... Sometimes, they scare me.....

Audrey finally got her bath. We'll see how long this one lasts....

I'm 0-2 in seeing Pirates.... Sold out both times we've tried to see it....

huh! what? Oh, wake up? yawn! stretch!

I went to bed a little earlier last night but I'm still sleepy. Oh well! The weekend is coming!

I started reading some blogs by Iraqi's in Iraq. Some of the stuff makes me cry. You hear so much on the news about how wrong the war was and how evil America is, blah! blah! blah! They I read stuff by those we went to help and see the stuff the news media doesn't report. See the hope they have and the gratitude for the US troops. See their love for Bush and hear the freedom they now have. See the excitement they share with us over the defeat of Saddam, Zarqawi, etc. See the reality of the "insurgency" (I won't repeat what some call it as this is a Christian forum but lets just say they DON'T support it)...

This particular post in a blog "The Mesopotamian" by Alaa caused me to tear up:

quote:

The American people too, should not forget the fundamentals of the situation. It was right, it was just and it was ordained by God; that a murderer and tyrant should be overthrown. The blood and sacrifices by the American soldiers and people will never be forgotten; the Iraqi people and history will always remember these “heroic soldiers of liberation” and honor their memory.

Sorry, I know my purpose for this thread was to be fun and silly, but this just really got to me.

Thanks! It's a good feeling - just very emotional. God bless all soldiers who are fighting for freedom and liberty!
