Yep, and I still listen to the radio pretty often. It's where I get to hear the news, besides CCM, as I rarely watch TV.

Well, folk, I may not get back here today. as this morning it's letter writing and taking my mom for her treatment, and this afternoon working on our assignment. Then I'm headed for the conference this afternoon at 4. So if I don't get back, I'll see you tomorrow. Have a blessed weekend.

What are your weekend plans?

Hi, Maggie, Dena & Trish,
Thanks, Maggie & Trish. It was an interesting type of conference. It was mostly "lightweight" and, as expected from knowing who was on the docket, there was a lot of humor. Tammy Trent shared her heart-rending personal story. Max Lucado shared the subject of one of his books, finding your sweetspot. The music of Avalon was wonderful.

Thanks again, Maggie! Incidentally, the most senior person in attendance was 92. They brought her up to the stadium and she showed everyone how she could still touch her toes! She had walked up 62 stairs to get to her seat. The next most senior person was 90. Every decade from teens to 90s was represented at the event! They went through all the decades and had each group cheer. The loudest cheer came from those in their 40's.

Hi, Joy! No one else is awake in the house, and I am debating as to which church I will go to this morning.

Hi, Trish & Dena!

Dena, that's cool to have a variety of churches from which to choose! Like Trish says, tell us what you did.

Our church is starting at 9 now instead of 10 because of the warmer weather. Not bad right now. It's 80 degrees at 8:20. The dog is barking for her food. See y'all!

I went to a conservative Baptist church for their early service. Now I am going to go with my sister to her Episcopal church in a few minutes.

How was your day, Joy?

Hi Trish & Dena!

It started out very good and, having been to a different church last week, I enjoyed my usual church more than usual. I just don't like getting into ruts; but it's nothing about the church itself, just the way I am. Next week we are going to a different church again.

Well, Dena, you get to two churches in one day. Not bad! Would you believe we even have an Episcopal Church in our little town? They have an interdenom. women's Bible study every week and some of our church women have been going there for years. I would if it wasn't for working every day. They have some fun activities ocasionally to which they invite all the churches and I really have a good time at them. I had to miss the last one as I was doing something else, but Leonard went and had a great time! We have a Baptist Church, too, but I don't think I've ever been to a Conservative Baptist. Did you enjoy it?

Hi, Joy! I was mistaken. It was a southern Baptist Church.
