A Heaven Sent Message ~ The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms; and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee ~ ~ Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it ~ Oh, LORD, how beautiful yYou are! For here we observe protection and comfort. Here we observe power and faithfulness. Here we observe safety and hope. ~ Oh, LORD, our LORD how excellent is your name in all the earth!~ Our eternal God is our refuge, our dwelling place. It is into His arms we may flee when we are overwhelmed with sorrow or fear. He is already our dwelling place for the one who trusts Him is already enfolded in God’s loving presence. At the same time, He is preparing an eternal home for us where we will go to when our last breathe on earth is taken. ~ Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? Or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there; if I make my bed in Sheol, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.~ His everlasting arms are underneath me and I shall never fall so much that God's enfolding arms will lose me. All of the while that we are safe in the refuge of God, He is driving out the enemy so that the enemy or whatever the enemy is using against us will not possess us. Though evil may come against us or we may become entangled in sin, God is at work driving it away from us. It will never posses us. If need be, for a season, God may allow us to struggle against sin or evil. However, He knows the perfect way to set us free. And, He will set us free! Our God is a faithful God. He will hold us and keep us while He drives the evil away. Oh, that we would come to trust Him ultimately with our lives! Oh, that we would be persuaded that He is trustworthy! For it is when we place ourselves into His nail-pierced hands that He will work on our behalf. Our part is to learn to trust Him. His part is to work on our behalf. And while we trust Him, He will be faithful to thrust out the enemy from before us. © Virginia Ganskie

ORIGINAL: potirone hi everyone, I really wonder why I am afraid. Why am I afraid when facing adversity? Why do little things bother me, And make me lose my sleep, And make me anxious?? I say Jesus I love you, Yet, when I am THERE, often, I tremble, I shake, Jesus gives me His hand And I can't take It I don't even see It Because I let other things, Bring confusion into my soul What Does God have to do to make me trust Him, Anytime, Anywhere, And In all circumstances? To what length does He have to proclaim his Sovereignty? How far does he have to pursue me? What else does He have to do? I just wonder… It's there all the time, I can see the things My Lord has done for me, Yet in the midst of danger, I turn my back to Him, Lord I grieve for those times, When I allow my sorrow to drown me, And I leave Your Hand hanging in the air, Lord, please I pray now, That you give me the Strength to trust you, And rely only on You, When it is time for the next battle. christelle Christelle, I myself have just moved all my stuf out of my apartment. This is the second time I have been a flood victim. Jesus has proven Himself faithful time and time again. Once again He will take care of me and help me. Sometimes we say, "Jesus I trust you," and we don't feel any different. We are still scared. But even then Jesus is holding on to us and HE WIL NOT LET GO! He is commited to you 110 %! The more you whisper, "I trust You," your feelings start to line up with what you are saying with your mouth. Here's a picture from my art portfolio. It is a picture of Jesus helping someone who is so weary of the struggle. It's called "Christ assisting the weary soul." Perhaps you can put yourself in the picture. Just believe this is exactly what Jesus is doing for you even if your feelings don't line up right away. It is true regardless of what your emotions tell you. Pretty soon the faith that God has already given you will grow. [image]http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-8/1059251/christassistingthewearysoul.jpg [/image] Let us know how you are doing.

Jesus, You are Simply ... Beautiful! My Jesus, It has only taken a moment for tears to course down my face, as I ponder the question, "What is most beautiful to me?” I already know. YOU! There’s none other more beautiful than You! And what can compare to the beauty of Your Presence? Nothing! I could look around at created beauty for inspiration, to be refreshed. But I can’t! I can’t go further than You - the epitome of true beauty! Jesus, I am enthralled by Your beauty. Your holiness is beautiful. Your goodness is beautiful. Your Name is beautiful ... whispered from my lips your Name is like the arresting fragrance of costly perfume - capturing my heart, delighting my senses. The sound of Your Voice, the feel of Your embrace ... I love the passionate beauty of Your eyes, and the purity of Your Words. The beauty of Your presence leaves me breathless ... speechless. What can I say when You are near? I love the intimate silence between us as I sit before You. Lost in Your presence I’ve discovered that words are not necessary. What privilege, what beauty You daily lavish on me. You have ravished my heart with the whispers of Your love. My heart yearns for You alone. Jesus, You are a rare delicacy, a trophy of exquisite beauty. My Darling Jesus, I know that others may not understand our love, but it doesn’t matter, because having tasted of Your delights, unspeakable pleasures from Your right hand, and to have beheld You in Your glorious beauty, I am fully satisfied. I’m satisfied with having seen Your likeness. All I can do is just bask in the beauty of Your love for me. You bestow Your beauty on me, calling me, “Your Beloved, Your Darling.” Of all Your virtues, I love Your holiness the most. The awesome beauty of Your holiness thrills my heart. You are holy and holiness is the atmosphere of heaven. Reveal to me the beauties of Your holiness. Jesus, Your beauty is heaven’s glorious fragrance that you desire to release from within my yielded soul. You have made beauty arise from the ash heap of my broken life. Heaven’s Darling, I am drawn irresistibly to You. No, it is more than that! I am captivated, totally smitten by Your beauty. Who can compare with the beauty of the Lord? Not one! O my Jesus, take me away with You to the cleft in the rock. Just You and me. Show me Your face. Let me hear Your voice. For Your voice is sweet, and Your face is lovely. Take me into Your chambers ... lavish on me the hidden pleasures that are only found in Your heavenly chambers. Our romance and our dance are robed in the purest beauty imaginable. Our love song is the song of the night. When I awake I remember You. When I sleep I dream of You. All You are and all You do is forever imprinted with Your alluring beauty. You are my Darling. Lover of my soul ... I love You. Jesus, You are simply ... BEAUTIFUL! __________________________ Psalm 17:15, 96: 6,9; 110: 36, Song 1:3, 2:14. NIV. Potirone, Thank you so very much for all your encouraging words. I am totally humbled to have this ministry!!! I guess it was "born in me" from the heart of God because God knew that I needed to study the Life of Jesus because I was so desperate!

My Bright Morning Star I awake, early dawn, at the first glimpse of light, To gaze upon such a bright morning star. Venus, it is, but how much more lovely You are. As I think of You, beholding the beauty, And gazing upon that diamond-like star, Oh, Jesus, my bright Morning Star, to me You are. A sign of great might, Amidst much darkness of night, My Jesus, please, bring forth all of Your light. Such brilliance I see, The star radiating You bright, Oh Jesus, please come, dispel the night. For the night speaks of, So much darkness and death. Jesus, Your light gives us sweet, needed rest. My precious Saviour, oh, let Your brilliance flow To all of mankind so that they may see, Light, dispels the darkness, reveal Your light to me. ~We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts~ ©Virginia Ganskie, 2006

From Darkness to Light Jesus heals the man born blind “Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him ‘Dost thou believe on the Son of God?’ He answered, and said, ‘Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?’ And Jesus said unto him, ‘Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.’ And he said, ‘Lord, I believe!' And he worshiped him"¯John 9:35-38 KJV. The depths of the beauty of God, as related in this story, cannot be plunged. The beauty of Jesus is as a many faceted diamond, brilliant and blazing with radiance whichever way it is turned. Jesus restored sight to this Jewish man who had been blind from birth. Following intensive questioning by the Pharisees, who were envious of Jesus, they cast the blind man out of the synagogue. For a Jew to be put out of the synagogue meant that everyone would ostracize him. This innocent man had suffered much already from the Pharisees who were convinced that he or his parents had sinned resulting in blindness. How sad it must have been to receive rejection, criticism and condemnation from the religious leaders of the day. After Jesus heard that they cast him out, He looked for the man until He found Him. Oh, the seeking love of the compassionate Savior! Finding him, Jesus asks if he ‘Believes on the Son of God.’ Imagine the reaction of the man as Jesus reveals He is the Son of God. ‘Thou hast seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.’ The man had been staring at the compassionate, tender, loving face of the One who he had experienced healing from. One of the first faces that he gazed upon following the restoration of his eyesight was the gentle face of Jesus. As he gazed upon that beautiful face, and heard His gracious words of love, the depth of God's love shone brightly against the cruelty and rejection of the Pharisees. No wonder this one who had been healed and sought after until he was found was in awe. No wonder he seeing the beautiful, sweet face of God and heard his speech full of grace, worshipped. © Virginia Ganskie Author's note: This is one of my favorite stories in the Bible because when I sometimes feel like an outcast, Jesus always seeks me out. I relate many ways with this story.

" It is I" “About the fourth watch of the night he went out to them, walking on the lake. He was about to pass by them, but when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out, because they all saw him and were terrified. Immediately he spoke to them, and said ‘Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.’ Then he climbed into the boat with them, and the wind died down”¯Mark 6:45,47-51. With these words, Jesus brought quiet to His disciples' hearts. How fearful they were as they struggled to bring the boat to the other side of the lake as Jesus had directed them. They were seasoned fishermen, but they were no match for the storm that had quickly swept down upon them. As they struggled to keep the boat under control, the ghost-like figure strode towards them on the wind-driven waves. They cried out for fear and then the voice that they had come to recognize and trust came across the waves stilling the fear in their hearts: “It is I” spoke Jesus. The same voice from Jesus will come to our troubled hearts when we are in the midst of the storm if we desire. He is always but a breath away, willing to help. “Call unto me, and I will answer thee,” (Jeremiah 33:3) He says to us. So much is spoken of in these three words. Throughout His three years of walking amongst the people bringing hope, healing and peace He spoke these same words in one way or another. Everything that is good, lovely and true are wrapped up in what Jesus means when He whispers to our hearts “it is I”. This is because, when they come from the mouth of Jesus, they speak of who God is and what He is like. Beloved, if you have never met Jesus you are missing peace for your fearful heart, hope for your hopeless situation, joy for your grief-stricken life and light for your darkened soul. Come to Jesus who whispers to your fearful heart “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” The voice was familiar; the words were characteristic of Jesus of Nazareth. As the disciples saw the familiar figure striding across the waves their hearts quieted and their trembling ceased when they heard the familiar, loving voice. hi beloved, thanks for the beautiful post!! quote:
So much is spoken of in these three words. Throughout His three years of walking amongst the people bringing hope, healing and peace He spoke these same words in one way or another. Everything that is good, lovely and true are wrapped up in what Jesus means when He whispers to our hearts “it is I”. This is because, when they come from the mouth of Jesus, they speak of who God is and what He is like. I have read the passage before, just trying to be the watcher as Jesus walked on water! what a wonder to a mortal's eyes! So far bigger than we can comprehend right now! Your bible translation used "It is I" and those words resonate so strongly, putting the emphasis on Jesus. my translation (NLT) used "I am here" and somehow, to me it seemed to carry a tid bit less wow.... anyway, just semantics. ".......And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of age" Matthew 28:20.

Well I have been a believer in Christ for sometime now. At the end of each and everyday all I have to say is WOW. I am yet to find a word that explains my feelings for Christ. It is sometimes hard to comprehend how perfect God truly is.

Girlies!! I'm back!! it feels so great to be back! :) I've been in the middle of midterms and its been kind of a hectic week...May the Lord bless you!! I do have a "devotional" to share, kind of long... I wrote this morning during serious down time..But thanks to our beautiful Lord all is well now "ok, I'm only writing this because I really need to get it out of my system. I wish I could look at all of the friends that have ditched me for someone else and say: 'ok, what is so wrong about me that you have all decided that I wasn't good enough of a friend?'. I wish people would stop being so fake with me. All smiles, all fun. No Truth. I'm not saying that 'oh If I only had a friend I'd be more happy' because that's not true, Im super happy, thing is that sometimes some situations make life seem so lonely. Even when I had a boyfriend. Its not the same. What I'd really wish is to have my time more occupied, more responsabilities, less time at home, more time at church, doing great stuff like at the nursery, at the hospital. This 'realization' that the world stays the same while I change has been kind of tough on me. I feel like the nicer and more joyful I seem to get, the uglier and more real the world seems to be. I could just imagine why Jesus was the 'Emo' king of his time. So much love and passion in a person and so much hate and violence and uglyness in such a world. I can't read people's minds but I can guess their intentions and sometimes just 'guessing' a person's intention can be so hurtful. So can you imagine Jesus? He could read people's dark hearts and minds. More the reason to love Him. He knew and knows what each of us are thinking and feeling. He saw the gruesomeness of our insides. He suffered our pains, carried our sins and died for such ugly human beings. Zane asked me, what could I possibly see and love in a person like him. And so I ask God, Lord! what can you possibly see in us? in me!? we are but broken bodies and souls in badly need of a fix. You know what's funny? In one of those alien movies, the extraterrestial said that we humans are the only species on earth so destructive of itself. How ironic, that we know how horrible we can be and yet do nothing to change it. Being in the Truth has certainly done many things in me. I've learned to forgive, to love, to love when my heart is shattered to pieces. God is holding my heart now, picking up the pieces. I've learned to be content in every situation, notice I say content and not happy. I've also learned that even though God's time or watch is super slow, when we wait on it, on Him the outcome truly is the best one. Today has been one of those "David" moments for me. David in the cave, alone, cold, hungry and abandoned. The only thing I do love about being 'down' is that it always brings me closer to God. Being in the Truth has also taught me that turning to God is the best way always. You'd think that years relying on broken people like me would have taught me that. But no. Only God could. I can only repay Him with my love. And my Happiness? 'Therein lies my true happiness, where my heart is.'" I wrote that this morning at 9:48am. After that the rest of the day was actually great. God always knows how to put me in awesome moods, :D it's the little details in life. He looks out for me and that brings Joy to my little heart. God Bless Everyone!! And remember keep looking up for He is always looking down! Ain't it great?? :)

Hello Everyone, 2 Corinthians 4:17 “We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile jars of clay containing this great treasure” We saw the light, We tasted the food, We drank from the table, We received the honor to carry the torch. But we are mere envelopes, Just like jars of clays, We can easily break into pieces. It is Your precious gift that in us, Keeps us alive and renewed. Your power dwells in us, And we, mere shells, Are strengthened. Now that we have seen the light, Have tasted the food, Have drank from the table, Let us praise God, And share the goodness of his Word. Christelle

'Therein lies my true happiness, where my heart is.'" HEy rita, i can completely relate to this situation, as several times too, i have had those moments of complete disorientation, and just the feeling of being so tiny facing a world that is so big, and that just won't change!! In those times too, i sought refuge in Christ, and no matter how troubled i felt, He eased my turmoil and brought me back. I have to comment on more. i'll be back. Blessings sister, and thanks again for sharing!!! I am glad the rest of your day was better!!! He works miracles!!
