It's very weird. And then he broke down and told me that he's slept with 37 women in the last 10 months.

I'm not really sure what to think. I think he's telling me stories, but I also think that part of it is true and he's feeling depressed/sad/whatever. I can't say that I'm happy for him, but I hope that things work out for him.

I was going to ask the same question as Brandy but then I thought, well Christine is getting married and she probably told Eric, so what's the difference? But it does sound to me as if he's trying to tell you something (other than the words he used). 37 women in ten months? He's hurting. Is he fabricating stories? Could be. But if so, it's probably more an exaggeration of numbers than anything else. {{{{{{{{{Christine}}}}}}}}}

We still have snow on the ground from the storm Wednesday night.

No, Eric does not know about the upcoming nuptials. I don't plan on telling him either. It's nothing that we need to discuss.

We were tourists today in San Francisco. It was fun. K held a guitar signed by Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus.

I sawa $4000 jersey autographed by John Elway, Joe Montana, Dan Marino, and Johnny Unitas. It was AWESOME!!! Too bad $4000 is a little more than I have laying around right now.

{{{Christine}}}

I won't speculate as to whether he is telling the truth or not because either way . . . whether he's telling the truth, whether he's exaggerating or whether he's outright lying . . . it seems as if he's trying to emotionally punish you for the divorce.

My prayers this week will be for both of y'all.

Maggie; that was sweet; thank you.

Although I wasn't really trying to compete with anyone.

Yep.

3.0 earthquake Sunday at 10:49 PM.

4.2 earthquake today (Monday) at 4:33 AM.

and lots and lots of other smaller shakes.

HERE is the list of recent earthquakes over 3.0. The Verdi-Mogul ones are what shakes in to Reno.

We have such crazy psyco weather here.

This is the second time now we have gone through one 80 degree day and then the next day it is super ultra windy. The gusts can get up to 80 MPH.

My guess is that this is another year where it will not be 75+ degrees every day until June.

I do like hot weather. I am lamenting the fact that this is yet another year of extended winter.

Ice Cream

Today (April 29) Ben and Jerry's is giving out a free ice cream cone.

Tomorrow (April 30) Baskin Robins has 31 cent scoop night.

Catherine --- we're having that here too. Sunny and 80 on the weekends; windy, overcast and 60s during the week.
I actually am liking the pattern, except when I'm going on walks in the wind.

Almost every day I do or say something that reminds me just how much I am like my parents. Usually it's the way I say something and it sounds just like my mom. Sometimes it's the way I organize my thoughts and my research (like when looking for a wedding site) that tells me I am just like my father.

Yesterday I did something that proves I am my father's daughter.

I decided to go for a bike ride. We have this great path that runs parallel to the creek by our place. The path has a really fun and relatively easy off-road trail for mountain bikes. I've done it before several times, but there's a hill that I can never get up. Last night I was feeling really good about my ride; confident and in control of my bike.

I saw the hill coming and got my speed up and then started downshifting. (Usually I don't get up because I'm in too high of a gear and don't realize it until too late and I lose my speed and balance.) I got down to a great gear and started up the hill. I was doing it. I was 2/3 up. Then I started to lose my balance. I knew it was happening, it always does. So I started to get off my bike so as to not crash. Nope. Balance still not in tact. I got off my bike just in time to not let it land on me and slide down the hill with the bike. I got my leg over the horizontal bar and set the bike down, then momentum pushed me down the hill a little further.

I'm mostly OK. I didn't hit my head, and I really didn't hit the ground. I set my bike down, then set myself down and rolled/slid down the hill. I have a couple scrapes and a nice bruise on my hip. My bike was unharmed.

There were people on the paved path, but no one actually saw me fall. Which is OK, really, since I was mostly embarrased. I pushed my bike up the hill, finished the off-road path, then completed the paved path home. I had my ID on me, but no cell phone. So even if I needed to be picked up, I wouldn't have been able to contact anyone.

It'll be awhile before I try that hill again......

Poor Christine and the Hill. Sounds like a future mountain to conquer!!! You can do it.

From a males perspective is that he is likely over-stating. Guys do that alot of the time. (Not me however)... Shar-Mar is correct in my opinion. But do not feel guilty of your future marriage,Christine..

Tuesday

Tuesday was a full day for me.

Went in and worked at my appraisal place from 1 - 5:30 PM. There was quite a bit to do, and I didn't get everything finished (I am a lot slower than I used to be since I am out of practice). I am already scheduled to go again next Tuesday. This is not a bad part-time job.

After work Matt and I went to Ben & Jerry's to get a free cone (was Free Cone Day). I got cheesecake brownie and Matt got something that was really, really chocolaty. Matt pretty much always makes the better ice cream decision.

Then we stopped at the store and I bought milk, cream cheese, and tomato sauce.

Then we went home for a short while. I mixed up part of a lamb meat loaf and stuck it in the fridge.

Then we went to our accounting class. The last two weeks we were supposed to have a substitute while the teacher was out of the country, but neither of them showed up. She started out her lecture on chapter 10, though I am not really sure why since we already had to do the homework and quiz on chapter 10 last week. Then she started on chapter 11, but did not get all the way through it since the teacher started coughing too much. We were there a lot longer than usual.

Then we came back home. I finished making the lamb meatloaf, put it in the oven, then we left to go get my truck that I left at the appraisal office since I rode with Matt to ice cream/home the first time.

The lamb meatloaf was OK. I liked the loaf itself, but the sauce that the recipe directed me to make tasted just like sweet and sour sauce, which it turns out I do not like on meat loaf. Matt said he liked it, so I hope he enjoys eating the leftovers.

I have "The Best of Price is Right" on DVD from Netflix, so we watched some of that. The original Price is Right with Bill Cullen is really boring to me. I think the revised version with Bob Barker is a lot better.

Went to sleep at 1:30 AM, which was much earlier than I intended to, but I was having trouble staying awake.

If you look on youtube you can see the very first "Price Is Right" with Bob Barker. We watched Hell's Kitchen last night..

I got an email notification that our flight times for Florida has changed.

Now we are getting in 50 minutes later. It woldn't be a big deal except that we were already getting there very, very late. I hate that we have to pay for a hotel day that we barely even use... by the time we get from the airport to the hotel it will be June 1 and not May 31 anymore.

Our returning flight got changed to an hour earlier... too early in the morning!

We now have an even longer layover in Dallas, and then we get home half an hour later (at least that is at a decent time since both of us have to work the next day).

Why did they change the times on every flight we were scheduled to be on when it is only one month away??
