Karen stops by briefly one in a while and I leaves before I can even get a hug.

I'm beginning to think that's on purpose.

I'm beginning to think that's on porpoise.

That would explain how she jumps in and out of here so quickly.

I shouldn't be doing all that dancing around my chair so early in morning. I had to lay down for a while.

Now that I'm rested, what was everyone saying?

MJ I'm so glad to see you! And of course, Jimbo!

MJ will you be coming back anytime soon? Or was that your annual Cross Walk?

I just got an email from my Honey- he is in Iraq for a "walk through" he is gonna be back this weekend sometime. He sent me a message from his new "official" work email address. It has his new title and all with it. I nearly cried(okay so I am cryin')- he is such an awesome man. I don't deserve him. And me pouting because I have to share his Awesomeness with others. BAD ME! I am such a TROLL!

I promise not to Troll my Honey for doing a job he is so good at.

I promise not to Troll my Honey for doing a job he is so good at.

I promise not to Troll my Honey for doing a job he is so good at.

God gave him people skill gifts and he is gonna go out there into the sand and USE his gifts to draw folks closer to God. The church is gonna do a commissioning ceremony for him on the 21st. We are sending him to Iraq as a Missionary. A government sponsored mission trip. Who'du'thunk'it.

Pray that I am not a selfish troll...

I have to say this. You are not selfish. You are an army wife; the hardest job in the army, bar-none. You have every right to be selfish, but from what I know of you that is not the case. You are in my prayers and my church will be uplifting you as well. If there's anything Loverly and I can do, please don't hesitate to let us know.

I saved my crying for church tonight. We do praise and prayer time and then break up into groups of 2-3 and have a 5 or so minute prayer fest... Tonight the lady I ended up with prayed for my family and then thanked God for sending us to across her path because we had been an encouragement to her in her homeschooling her son that has problems reading. Yeah--- I Bawled.

My church has agreed to continuously lift you and your family in prayer until your hubby is home safe and sound. Also my loverly bride has been through this before when I went to Iraq in '03. She is praying for you as well. And I'm also renewing the offer to help in any way we can.

You should count yourself lucky that my sons(14.5, 12, 10, and 9) can mow the grass dude! it is a fair clip from there to Point B NC.

I do so appreciate the prayers.

I got a call from our last pastors wife. She got me talking and I sat here yacking at her for 30 minutes. She is a sweet gal. She told me that she knew I was good at isolating myself and that she'd be calling every now and again just to be sure I was not becoming a hermit.

I told her I probably needed to make a list of ladies to call and make a call a week just to hear another coherent female voice. She said that sounded like a good idea and said she wanted to be on the list.

*sigh*

I know I will make it- I am just not looking forward to the stretching and molding and making me into a new stronger more self sufficient more self confident me. I have 30 years (10 as a child and 20 as a wife) military experience in NOT meeting new people and NOT making new friends because I know we will just be leaving them. Jerry has ALWAYS been my best friend. We connected in the 11th grade as friends then started dating in 12th and have been together ever since. He was my first real friend... you know the kind that you know will catch you when you are falling... He literally did this. I passed out from a hypoglycemic event coming down the stairs in the cafeteria, he saw me going down and grabbed me then carried me to the office much to the dismay of my then boyfriend. But then I digress--- I guess one would have to have that Military experience to fully understand the stand-offish reluctant to make friends issues that come with the life. The folks round here- they have been her forever. I believe that helps a bit because they sit there and think about their husband/wife leaving for a year and freak.

Thanks again.

~e

Awwww I know exactly what you mean.
I retired from "I've Been Moved".

There are people that I talk/visit with, but that's about it.
My FRIENDS are my Sisters! And that's enough for me.

My sister is a bit strange, no she is a bit normal. I am the strange one. We have never been close. She remembers things about our growing up way diff than me and mom do sometimes.

She got going on how she managed to get caught sneaking out her bedroom window because I told on her and that I snuck out my window all the time. All I did was tell her that I always just walked out the front door. *shrugs* I never did sneak out. I just walked out. Really and honestly I did. Why kill myself falling out the window. I did give her this bit of advice while out with Mom who did scold her for climbing out the window BUT did not say a single thing about her not leaving the house via the front door like me. We had very permissive parents when it came to dating and Uh... premarital relations. Dad always asked me what time I was coming home BEFORE the guy showed up then HE told the fella- You have her home by---- or else. It was always the time I gave him prior. If I liked the guy then the time was later, if I was unsure of the guy then the time was earlier.

I never HAD to sneak out. Really- they allowed my now husband to share my bed prom night because he was going with us on vacation the next day in the early AM. We were both fully dressed and remained that way though we could have done otherwise- Then he slept with me in the sleeper bed of the van on the road and we slept head to head in the hallway of the hotel suite(only because the small hallway connecting the bedroom to the living area wasn't wide enough to sleep side by side) all that next week and were given several opportunities to "be alone" that week. Does that sound like I had to SNEAK anywhere? NOPE.

Another interesting "remembrance" of hers is that I had a drinking problem. She said I'd get snookered on Nyquil every night. Eh- the stuff is disgusting and I took it seasonally so I could sleep through the ragweed allergies. But she saw it as me drinking a bottle every night and passing out stinking drunk... I will admit I do not handle alcohol well. a single wine cooler and I am giggling and flushed- then I pass out. Again My mom and I both remember it as a single dose a night for 2-3 weeks in the fall and again in the spring when the trees started blooming. Mom was the one buying the weekly bottle of Nyquil, you'd think she'd know.

There are others similar... Like I said- it is a strange relationship. I have corrected her in these memories a few times as has mom and she still remembers them "her" way. Maybe she is trying to be a TROLL?

~e <-- who wasn't an angel but certainly wasn't the person her sister remembers...

I have a younger sister that remembers all sorts of things that never happened too. It's kinda nice to be the object of jealousy by a sibling I thought got away with murder when we were kids.

I was just researching Michael Jackson's nose... interesting...

It was more fun than the remembrances of my sisters false remembrances anyway.

Yes I have good Sisters! The interesting thing is that although we were born 6 years apart, we really act and look about the same age!
And NO, I don't know how that works.

Our Dad (who died many years ago) and our Mother (who died about six years ago) were very, VERY strict when we grew up. To even THINK about leaving the house without asking for permission ... even now I can't imagine of that happening.

The worst thing was, "Talking Back" (also known as being a Smarty Pants) to your Parents!? Or your Grandparents or Aunts or Uncles or any other adult?

I made up for it though when I moved away from home, after High School.

What ever caused you to research Michael Jackson's nose?
Should I Google it?

I think I heard that he doesn't even have a nose anymore.

Some one on a private young writers forums my kids go to said he HAD a nose. LOL!

Why did we even get there... there is this troll thread called what do you want Santa Clause to bring you? none of the kids on the forums believe that a fat man with 8 tiny reigndeer brings them toys. They all know Jesus is the reason for the season.

Anyway- I saw that they were getting off topic and as a good forums mom I posted that all Michale Jackson wanted for Christmas was a nose.

Ahhh someone said HE HAS A NOSE--- I GOOGELED IT AND SAW IT! Mmmm So I had to point out that he might have what appears to be a nose but ion all actuality it is not the nose he once had and that it is a sad excuse for a nose.

As for being brought up- you and I were brought up way different as you can see. My folks stopped just short of encouraging promiscuous behavior. when I say just short--- I mean just short. Dad never asked a young man I was dating if he had enough condoms, but he near made a religion out of making certain I had my monthly prescription filled and was taking the pills as prescribed. YES, my dad checked my birth control pills. Scary huh. We are raising our kiddos much differently. Putting out there all the options, using our stories as proof that the way we did it wasn't the best way though God worked it out for us and you can see HIS HAND WORKING. We both have some fairly scary stuff that happened to us due to our illicit dating behavior. So far both the girls are opting to wait for their prince. Dancing with God... Seeking His will... Understanding that He will let the perfect man cut in when the time is right.

Trill did have a beau for a few months but that got a bit over the top and he made a big mistake of making her choose between him and his "desires" to marry her in 5 years or her family and her beliefs. He lost out big time. She is a better person for standing up and standing firm in Gods Word and keeping her vows to Him.

And it's always good to know early that a man is a total jerk.

Thing is he said he wasn't dating her family, but her... She had to clarify that she was not DATING at all but thought she was involved in a courtship and courting involves both getting to know the others families well prior to setting a single date, which would be for a wedding. he was so not the young man that she thought he was- that I thought he was. He was good at trying to be all things to all people for a few months then he crashed and burned.
