Hi y'all :) I'd ask Marcia to print the ads herself, but she's completely computer illiterate. She doesn't even know how to turn a computer on, let alone use it. Her life experiences have her convinced that she's too dumb. She doesn't even know how to use anything on the satellite TV remote other than going up and down through the channels (not the channel guide), even after I showed it to her numerous times.

I'm sad today. I found out this morning that a young coworker is pregnant. She's still in college, is single, and is going to be quitting school. I'm sad that young women think this is ok, that they have so little respect for themselves that they give themselves to whoever they happen to be casually dating, and that they think it's normal to be young, barely out of high school, single and pregnant. And what about the young males who don't have any respect for females, and think nothing of premarital sex? And the poor baby, who will grow up without an intact two-parent family, but will instead be born into a situation that's bad for them...most likely multiple 'dads', a mom who has to work and put the child into daycare, and no stability. I'm sad :(

But that's Uncle Martin. Mork said nanoo nanoo! And Shazbot! But that may be a TOS violation. I dunno, is Orkian included in the TOS?

Or kinda like when Bill and I post in "Joisey-speak" or "goombah-ese", depending on what you want to call it. Duane

ORIGINAL: kimberlysfrog It's ok to ask, Mike. She's still looking for a place to move and nothing she's looked at so far is quite right. She's no longer living with her sister but is staying with a coworker, and told me she has to be out by the end of this month. Every Monday and Thursday I print ads from Craigslist and leave them in a basket on the porch for her. She doesn't want to knock and ask for them, she feels it's intruding. I've tried to tell her it's not, but she's very resistant to that. I decided it was easiest to let her do what she wants and not get frustrated with all that type of thing. I also helped myself with that by deciding not to answer her calls but let them go to voice mail. That way I don't have to deal with any possible emotional manipulation if she's in a depressed mood. Thankfully those don't seem as common right now by the tone of her voice mails. I am praying she gets the help she needs, though. She might be embarrassed by what she has done and now feels so guilty by it that she feels that she is intruding, but it could also just be that she is well, oversensitive as well.

I'm sad :( That is really sad. I say hello sometimes in Maori on one of the threads, but other than that, I stick to English. Even then I can't get English right.

You could be right on both counts, Mike :) I've been doing a lot of overtime at work this last week, including 6 hours today, from 5am to 11am. It's been stressing me out because it's mandatory, and it's too much for me with everything else I do outside of work, not to mention spending time with Andrew. The good news is that there's a possibility - a strong possibility - that Andrew's current temp assignment will become permanent at a very good rate of pay - more than I make! Please pray that this works out as God wills. If he does get hired and things look good, I may consider quitting my job and going into temp work myself. I do need to keep working for at least 1-2 years so we can get our debts paid off, but after all debts are paid off I may not need to work. We'll see about that down the road. More good news is that we finally received the raw footage of our wedding video. Our videographers had some hardware problems and haven't yet been able to edit the footage, so they gave us the raw video and once they have the hardware issues resolved they'll give us an edited video. I have been able to make copies of the video we do have. I know some of you are interested in having a copy. If so, please PM me and let me know and I'll get a copy out to you (along with a copy of the invitation which I have been remiss in sending out, and also a copy of the wedding music CD) within the next 2 weeks. Our garden is exploding! All the plants I bought a few weeks ago and planted are twice their size, and the strawberries are producing like mad. We already have some squash and tomato blossoms, and I planted the beans earlier this week. The blackberries have blossoms all over, and bees are humming all around them. It looks like it could be a bountiful year! I also recall those fun days of morse code threads and the fun dialects over at rinkworks.com :D

Oh, yeah...last weekend was my church's women's getaway, and it was wonderful! We were at a camp between Sonora and Yosemite. The drive there was beautiful, much of it on highway 49. I drove and two of my friends from church rode with me. We stopped in beautiful historic Sonora for lunch at The Miner's Shack and had a very enjoyable time. The retreat was very refreshing and fun. I've linked to the photo album in my signature where you can see photos. Not only did we have a refreshing time learning more about God, we also had a couple of very fun crafts...necklace making and bath salts making. :D I love my church :)

Well, getting the wedding video motivated me to do more work on the photos. I still need to work on the photos of the reception, but I've finished working on the wedding photos and am uploading them to my online album: http://anchoredbygrace.com/myphotos/index.php?album=our-wedding Enjoy!
