In Jesus all is true, but without Him there is nothing. For the integrity of God is in the Christ Jesus. For all covenants and commandments of God are fulfilled in Jesus. In the Old Testament was the Light given in law and discipline. But no man can fulfill the law nor the commandments. It’s in Jesus the fulfillment of commandment that saved us. For the commandment to the man was not fulfilled that Jesus (the Light ) fulfilled in the son of man. Hence, not only the commandments to man are fulfilled, but “let there be Light” is now fulfilled in the son of man. Without the commandments fulfilled we are dead in the water, so to speak, but we are saved in the fulfillment of the commandments in Jesus. Including the commandment in the garden. For God’s commandments must be fulfilled. No ifs, buts, or ands, about it. There is no leeway on His commandments. Therefore they must be fulfilled in us.

Welcome to Crosswalk. Your sentiment is very true. quote:
Therefore they must be fulfilled in us. I understand exactly what you are saying, but just to nitpick, lol, it can never be fulfilled in us, But they are fulfilled in Him, and being IN Him, then we are accounted fulfilled so to speak. Again, ditto to your post. I have to deal with the "not under the law," etc. etc. all the time. We ran across a verse this week (2 Timothy 1:10 PNT) "but only now has been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Messiah Jesus, when He indeed broke the power of death, and brought life and immortality to light through the Good News . . . . Jesus broke the power of death, yet death is still with us. Jesus fulfilled the law, yet the law is still with us. So, as you are pointing out, we are to be IN HIM for He alone fulfilled the death penalty of the law. Otherwise, we are still under the law as a lawbreaker.

Correct for it is His Life that we should live. As in He in us and we in Him. The day we come to salvation is great, but it is the restoration unto God to be like the Lord as much as He would Will that is the daily process. I have notice your focus on the Tora I have been doing the continuous read of the first five books myself. It truly is the school master. I believe your going to find a lot of “so what the law”. But they are truly missing out. When you read it you find yourself listing to what the Lord says and how and what He thinks. And Leviticus is all about, of the Lord your God, and before the Lord your God and unto the Lord your God. Which is about one’s closeness to the Father through the Son. That most remain week in Spirit because of the lack of interest. It seems that many do not understand that the flesh is under the law, but the Holy Spirit is not. Therefore the Tora is a school master to those in His Spirit. His Children.
