hi to all. You know it doesn't feel so great to feel so unsure about everything, except that I know Christ could come to rapture us up at any moment....in such "end time" days, I am feeling like less of a christian than I ever have before. Does anyone else feel this way???

I am just unsure that I will even make the finish line......so much is wrong with me all the time, meaning my character, sin, motives, my heart issues.......I don't know.

I guess it is starting to really scare me becuase I know time is running out and I don't feel ready.

Sounds like satan induced guilt here.
Are any of us in such good spiritual shape to proclaim, " If Jesus comes right now I am perfect and pure and in great shape to be raptured?"
Its not your perfection that saves you. Its your faith and love for God that does. Certainly we should examine ourselves and die to self and seek holiness. Its our passion to do so.
However, there ain't too many perfect christians..if any. If there is something between you and God, get rid of it. It will amaze you how much better that feels.....
and don't be controlled by your feelings. Let your Spirit control your feelings.

None of us ever feels ready. If we say we do ... we're in for a big surprise !!!
Focus everyday on Him. If you've done something wrong: seek His forgiveness. When you feel weak and in doubt: seek His help. And when you feel great again - as you will do: thank Him for it.

Know that salvation is because of Jesus, not because of anything we can do. We can't add to it..
As eathless has said it is not about what we have done. If you are depending on what you have done to make it then you will not make it. It is all about what Christ has done for us. He is the author and finisher of our salvation. Just put your Faith and trust in what He did on the cross for you. I know I am a Christian, because of what Christ did for me. If it was up to what I have done then I would miss the mark by a loooooooooong shot. As would everyone else.

God's time is perfect, even when we're wandering around and walking into walls. He bought us a sinners, incapable of anything good. Slowly He teaches us and sanctifies us, and it's Him doing it, not us. All we do is realize we've blown it (for the millionith time) and confess, repent, take His hand and start walking again, full of rejoicing that He has forgiven us and is working in us to make us like Him. So thank Him for His love and grace, stop doing what you know is sin and start being the person He's calling you to be, one little part at a time. He's God, you're a sinner saved by grace, and He isn't surprised when you sin again. Just don't live in it, but get out of it everytime you discover you fell in. It's about His grace not our sin. I agree with the mouse lady 
I experienced it myself, and it just so happens that yesterday I caught myself while helping my brother send his resume. I did a little snap at him. I realized it quick and apologized to him. It was less then 5 minutes.
Before I would have gone for hours arguing my point blah blah that I had every right because he was trying to make me do something one way he has no clue how to do, and was frustrating me  . Going to sleep thinking "yeah I was right Peter so shaddap". LOL
Anyway, I was amazed at the fact that I actually caught myself before it escalated into a whole day ordeal (and it would of). We even stopped what we were doing because it was such a shock to both of us that I caught myself within minutes of it happening. We just discussed it finding the core source of my snap -which had nothing to do with what I was doing for him. The entire thing didn't last more than 15 minutes while enjoying Mexican chips with Salmon dip. Isn't that amazing. Thank you Lord.
The point is it doesn't matter who was right, and snapping at people is not Godly.
The main point for you here is that; the closer you get to God through Jesus everything just changes, like mousie said, on it's own time. 
So, read the bible, pray, meditate, have a personal relationship with God through Jesus and everything around you will change automatically, guaranteed.
Praise God eh.

You know, the Bible says that in Christ, we are not given a spirit of fear and that we can have confidence in Him. Phillipians also tells us that we can take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ Jesus. That is huge! The beauty here is that all you have to do is claim that promise-- it is yours already.
I know there are those out there that say that you should live each day like it is your last, but clearly that sort of thinking has frightened you. No man, not even Jesus know the day nor the hour of His return-- only the Father knows. You can focus on that if it motivates you to tell others about the good news of Jesus' redemption, but if it captivates you in fear, then you need to focus elsewhere. You may simply need to look at each day as the gift that it is and seek to glorify God in your actions-- letting yesterday's struggles stay there and walk in freedom.
You asked if anyone else feels this way-- of course we all do once in a while. I know that since becoming a parent, my fear tends to focus on them, but I force myself to stop and review who I am in Christ-- I am forgiven and I stand before God covered in the saving blood of His Son and because of that, I don't have to worry that I'm not perfect. Neither do you.

Hello toetappen
I would seriously question whether or not you have a solid relationship with Jesus Christ. Have you been born again by the Spirit of God? Have you been baptized in the Holy Spirit so you can know that miracles are for today? Have you taken the time to study the Bible to know about renewing your mind? Do you know the supremacy of Jesus Christ and the unlimted power available to those that believe?
