We went to see it also. I loved this movie. The kids enjoyed it too. It's definitely a buy.

The "Dallas Morning News" hit the nail on the head when it started off it's review about this movie by talking about how "hesitant" parents are to take their kids to most ANY movie, regardless how "kid friendly" it appears to be, for fear that there's going to be something in it that's "unexpected" and "negative" (language or whatever)....then, "Road Trip" was praised as being the movie that really had NOTHING but fun in it. And, any kind of "negative suprises" didn't appear at all!
We took our two younger kids (6 & 7) and they loved it....and, YES, even to me, the dad, it was quite funny in parts.
Predictable? yes. corny? yes...but, still quite entertaining...
Donny was a RIOT!

We saw the previews for this & really want to take the kids! Good to hear there are no "surprises"! Had to look twice when I saw it was "G" rated!

"G" is rare...even in animation these days! My daughter loves Raven, so I will take her. Her remake of "Double Duch Bus" is really good.

I noticed at my theater that they put a PG rating on the sign. I don't know if it was by mistake, but it probably is due to the fact that it is in a college town & they didn't want to take any chances of just kids seeing it. All about the money. kd

At first I thought this was the movie "Road Trip". Nevermind... I haven't seen this movie.

I, too, was surprised this got a G rating and lived up to it! I liked this movie, though my husband said it was way too cheesy for him.
