I am assuming that since this has to do with my cell phone or actually the company to put this here. If I am wrong ~ Sorry. I got my cell phone bill today and it was nearly 3,000 dollars. When my husband called the company we discovered that the lady at the store did not put unlimited texting on the phone. They are working on it but since it is such a large amount they said it would take some time. I wonder if this happens alot.

Unfortunately, people are human and do screw up. I cannot say I've had an issue relating to cell phones, but my wife and I are dealing with a bank account mixup. They're charging fees on an account that is advertised to have none. Granted, we're not dealing with $3000, but the point is that people make mistakes. Hopefully, you can get it resolved without too much hassle. Cingular screwed me out of about 2000 rollover minutes recently, but that's really my only gripe with cell service. :D

Ours has always been great. and never made a mistake that I've ever found. Most issues we've had have been our mistake, and they still bend over backwards to help us out. I saw once that we were going way over our minutes, so we upped the plan. They made it retroactive for me at no additional cost so I didn't have to pay any overages, and it was my fault to begin with. Same with texts. We went over the allowed number and when I called to change the plan to unlimited, they offered to make it retroactive so I just had to pay the upgrade and none of the overages.

We've had this service for about 7 years and they've never not handled our account great.

I hope that is the same service we have. My husband called and he said that they were going to adjust the bill. It almost seems too easy so I am nervous about that. If it indeed going to be that easy I will tell everyone that this cell service has awesome customer service.

.... oh my goodness!!

I betchya just about had a heart attack!!!!

lol!

Once we had a WAY HUGE cell phone bill.... my daughter had been texting more than I knew.... she cleared 2,000 texts in one month

I took the phone away from her and told her if she wanted a phone... she could purchase her own pre-paid phone!

Now - I try to keep an eye on the usage of my cell...

I've observed that if customers keep at it.... someone at the company will give and make it right....

Wow! Thats crazy! I know I have done over 2000 texts in a month. Of course I was younger and single. lol Sheesh well at least they are working on it. That is definatly a good sign. On the other hand I wonder how I would have acted right from the get go if my child had a bill that reached that high. I know how I should but I think initially I would be very upset and think they went way over.
