Today's the day Letters from My Father's Murderer is released!
I must say, it's a bit surreal. This project has been in the works for three and a half years, and it's finally out for the world to see! If you haven't ordered a copy yet, you can grab it from Amazon or Barnes & Noble or wherever else you like to buy books. It's available on Kindle and Nook as well, by the way (but not iBooks––whah, whah).
If you're still not convinced enough to pick up a copy, perhaps hearing what others are saying (outside of my friends and family) will give you the nudge you need:
"Truthfully, I could not put the book down.” - Dan
“Powerful! …This is a must read.” - Page
“Been reading every spare minute…. I honestly had a hard time putting it down.” - Patty
“Cannot put the book down! I started it last night... Got up early to read and am a bit miffed that reality of life must begin and I will put the book down..... Until I can steal away and read some more!” - Carol
“I would love to consume the entire book in one sitting…but needed to put it down for now.” - Judy
“This is a must read.” - Beth
“Started the book last night at about midnight. Couldn't put it down for about an hour until I ABSOLUTELY had to for need of sleep.” - Julia
“I started my copy today and could not put it down! I was forced to come up for air to take my sweet girl to a movie but I could not get home fast enough and get her in bed to keep reading. I finished every last word.” - Erin
“Just finished the book this afternoon…. I couldn't put it down. Beautifully written.” - Angela
I think this book may be the book of my life. Quite honestly, I'm not sure if I will ever be able to match a book like this, considering the amazing storyline God has crafted in it.
I have always said, "I am not writing a book unless God tells me to write a book." And then He did. The reasons why I finally submitted to His call to write this book are many, but here are just a few.
I wrote this book to allow others to know and see God for who He truly is.
I wrote this book to help others go beyond religion, to see what real faith can do.
I wrote this book to allow others see the gospel come to life.
I wrote this book to challenge believers, and non-believers alike, to do the Word of God.
I wrote this book to show others how to follow Jesus.
I wrote this book to help others understand that they don't need to just deal with the pain of their past. That Jesus came to heal their broken hearts and mend their wounds.
I wrote this book to help others find hope and healing as I did. To find freedom and peace through forgiveness.
I wrote this book show the heart of God, the one who works ALL things for good for those who know and love Him.
I wrote this book to shine the light of Christ into a broken and lost world.
But above all things, I wrote this book to bring glory to our amazing God!
This book is for you. I pray this incredible story touches you where you need it! And may God be glorified in the process!
