There are days when life simply does not go "our way".
Sickness takes precedence over activity. Inclement weather deters events. People cancel plans.
Life happens. It "happened" for me today. But despite the unavoidable, what matters today is how I will choose to respond. What matters today is how you will choose to respond.
Psalm 139:16 sheds light on God's truth: "Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them."
Isn't God's sovereignty comforting? On days (or weeks) when life simply does not pan out in our design, we can cling to His truth: that each day is precisely where He would have us, for His ultimate glory and purposes.
Will you choose an attitude of gratitude with me today? Will you choose a heart of trust in God's ways and timing?
How we choose to respond matters. So let's choose wisely together today, trusting in His sovereign love and grace!
