USE OF ANTI DEPRESSANTS AND SLEEP AIDS - 5/12/2008 9:57:20 AM

Any one on this forum have any advice on the use of prescription
drugs for anxiety,depression,and sleeping disorders?I take klonnopin
and wellbutrin for depression and sleep disorder problems. Lately
i have been waking up at 3 am and cant seem to get back to sleep.
I see a pyschiatrist for a short session every 6 weeks or so and to
renew the prescriptions.I also have sleep apnea and use a c pac
machine.
How hard is to withdraw from these prescription drugs?Even right
now though i have taken my morning medication i fell anxiety.
I would appreciate any info or on line web sites to go to.

Talk with your doctor before going off any medications. Keep a log of what's going on--when you take your medication, your diet (esp caffeine and alcohol), and exercise. Also, what kind of stress you are under.
I've been on Zoloft for 10yrs. At this point my doctor trusts me to regulate it as needed. The longer you are on it, the easier it is to manage symptoms.
