Fox News has reported on its web site that Stellar Award winning gospel artist Rev. Timothy Wright, who recorded songs like "You Must Come In At The Door," "Prayer Will Fix It" and last year's song decdicated to the Katrina victims, "Jesus" was involved in a crash last night which killed his wife Betty.
Wright is critically injured.
The crash was a result of a wrong-way driver, who also was killed as well.

As a fan of his music, he is one of the people who kept the traditional gospel music alive and he recorded a re-make of one of his songs this past year.
This man is a giant in the gospel industry. Pray for the family and him for a speedy recovery.

I was just about to post this. Unfortunately, his 14-year old grandson has since died. Much prayer is needed.

This is the second tragedy which befallen a Christian artist that had been involved travelling on the highway. Please pray for the COGIC family, because Wright pastors a church and is involved heavily in the demoniation, and Wright's family as they taking the news really hard.

he's been on prayer list since this happened. what is so heartbreaking to me is that his wife has passed and he does not know about it. JESUS!!! be with him. that has to be tough.

On the COGICwebsite, they have information on services for First Lady Wright and DJ. On the same page, Wright underwent surgery this past week and is doing better day by day. Please continue to pray for the family.

Definitely praying for Pastor Wright and his surviving family. I have loved his music over the years.
Also praying for the family of Chris Simpson and another fatal crash involving the son of Pastor Greg Laurie. His 33 year old son died in a car accident. Be careful out there folks!
