I picked up the new Relient K release last evening and have mixed feelings about it. It is alot of "B Side" somewhat unreleased stuff so the first half is pretty cool.

I will say that the most encouraging thing is that when I went to the check out line at the "FYE" store (not a Christian bookstore) the cashier made a comment and said that "This is a really popular CD, I have sold several copies today." That was an opportunity to open the doors to minister, but that is another thread for another time.

Anyone picked this new CD up yet and what are your thoughts.

I received this CD in the mail on Tuesday, and I REALLY like the Nashville Tennis EP (which is like the first 13 songs). The rest are b-sides and different versions of songs I had already heard. I did like many of them, and I'm happy that I have a nice collection of different versions of songs I already had. Pretty neato.

I have to say that I didn't know what to expect when they said there was a bit of a country influence on the Nashville Tennis EP, but they handled it very well, and it turned out very nice!

do you all like the curl up and die song as much as i do?

i think the b side starts out really well and ends really well with their two acoustic songs

the beginning part is great too..i just love the friends song...and there was another time in my life

the harmonies are just great on this album i mean i like relient k the best when they slow it down and showcase the real talent of a voice that matt has....
