Hello to everybody here at CrossDaily. I'm a writer who's dabbled in many things like linguistics, history, computers, medicine, physics, psychology. I'm a linguist by hobby - I'm not exceptional and I need to get back into serious studying, but I've studied a lot of different languages with German and Japanese being the major ones, though to expand my knowledge of how languages work I've even studied Quenya. I'm rather isolated in my current environment and am hoping to meet a few people to dialog with in any topics. I'm not good at being open and I have a tendency to overthink things, so any questions or comments (whether about my writings or anything else) would be great. I wanna break out I need a way out I don't believe it's gotta be this way The worst is the way that in this room I'm suffocating --Skillet, Rebirthing, Comatose album

Heh heh, and belated welcome back. The future of humanity rests on our coming to realize that we are just as vulnerable to destruction as any wolf or whale or clear-running stream, but just as vital to the workings of the planet as the shining of the sun and the blowing of the wind. -- Unknown

Welcome to the board! I like your quote too! Skillet is one of my favorite bands.

Thanks for stopping by. I love Skillet - the music is so energetic. There's a sort of magic to many of their songs (like Whispers in the Dark, which was their first song I heard) that makes them fit anywhere. Most times when I listen to a song it fits conclusively into one category - I like writing and I have playlists to help focus on one specific mood or setting, like "melancholy" or "chase" or "upbeat", but many of their songs fit everywhere. Any technology sufficiently advanced is indistinguishable from magic. -- Arthur C. Clarke
