There HAS to be more to being a woman then trying to get pregnant, being pregnant, giving childbirth and all the things that then go along with being a mother.
Enough already....is it the Women's and Women's Only folders or is it the "mom" folders?

Just in case we want to look at the numbers....
overall front page threads (women and women only personal).....21 out of 43 are related to any sort of "mom" stuff
It is most pronounced in Women Only personal....where 17 out of 23 threads are based on different levels and timelines of motherhood
The normal Womens thread is not too bad. But my thought is this.....shouldn't some of the threads about babies and children be in parenting? And perhaps since there does seem to be a need and such a huge interest in getting pregnant, being pregnant, giving birth and such...should that maybe have it's own sub-thread?

Those seem to be the topic of interest. There are more threads on the second page that do not deal with mommyhood.
Why don't you start a thread or two on topics you'd like to discuss?

In my experience Kathy, unless the thread is controversial or really "girly" it get buried quickly.
I guess I'm really craving some in depth, REAL conversation with other women beyond all the pregnancy/childbirth/motherhood stuff. Really, I'm just venting. But if pregnancy and such is such a huge and popular thing....perhaps there should be a place for that all it's own. That way, someone like me who could care less about it does not need to fish through threads or just not bother.
