Here is the link to the story.

Basically, a mom places a 1-year old on a bed which is pushed up against an open window. The baby crawls out of the window and is caught by a postwoman down below.

Who in the world would put their child within crawling reach of an open window, especially one that's not on the ground level? I've made plenty of mistakes as a new parents, but ... yikes.

I bet she won't do that again!
Thank God the postal carrier was in the right spot at the right time!

When I looked at the video the mother doesn't look much more than 15 herself. Babies having babies!

That postal worker's spidey senses were locked in that day.

Thank God her moment of stupid didn't have forever consequences. I hope she and her family thanked that postal worker profusely, and then got on their knees and thanked God.

However, I think a lot of us could have had similar things happen, if not for the grace of God. I know some of my stupid moments could have turned out very badly.

The mom made a poor parenting decision that could've been faithful. Thankfully God was looking out for this little one and had the postal worker in the right place at the right time.

Do we know if that was the mother though. The video said the mother was too shaken up to be on camera. Yes it was a stupid mistake but we all make stupid mistakes and thankfully this one didn't end in tragedy.

No, those were the babies relatives. The reporter later mentions how the mother of the baby was too shaken up to appear on camera.

Ooops! My bad! I'm just glad it turned out well. I do hope the mom will do a good ole safety check of her home. These little ones are faster than most of us think.
I hope the postal worker gets some sort of recognition or reward for saving that baby.

I'm with Maggie on this one.

Praise God that the postal worker was there and was able to think that quickly! But we've all made mistakes and poor parenting choices when it's come to raising our children and I'm pretty certain many of us have could have also endangered our child's very life with those mistakes and choices. But, by the grace of God, all is well.

Let's cut the mother some slack here - I'm sure she feels bad enough about what happened and doesn't need us to make it any worse.

Blessings,

Garsy

I bet she doesn't do it again.

I know I've done stupid things with no intention of having my child harmed, and without really thinking about it. We're moms, we're not perfect.
