I just found out that Jackie Street died back in February. He has played bass and numerous CCM and Gospel recordings for such artists as DC Talk, Jaci Velasquez, Out of Eden, Anointed, Michael W Smith, and a host of others. He was a fine example of what a bass palyer should be; he wasn't known for having fancy chops and a lot of flash, but he could lay down a solid groove. He will be missed.
