Running 7 miles a day, 5 days a week, thus running 35 miles a week, and burning over 7,000 calories a week.

Drink lots of water.

Eat far less "bad" fat and much more good fat.

Stretching exercises . . . tilt your head back as far as it goes while simultaneously jutting your chin and lower jaw forward and holding in that position for a few seconds. You should be able to feel the muscles in this area tighten as you do this. Also, turn your head from side-to-side as far as you can on each side and hold for a few seconds.

Both exercises can be done throughout the day whenever you think of it.

ps. I used to have a major double chin.

If you have photoshop you can always just 'erase' that part of you.

Just kidding! *giggle*

Those exercises are pretty cool, SharMar! I've caught myself doing them a few times. *blush*

Seriously? You don't have one at all in your photo.

My last driver's license photo was positively horrid--I had a definite very round double chin. This time when I went in, I told the lady that my husband said I needed to stick my chin out more and stand at the right height where the camera could shoot me straight (instead of me having to look down at the camera). She was so nice and actually helped me by telling me what to do to get the photo right, and she took two pictures to make sure. The men around me waiting for their turn were quite amused by the ordeal.

Yay!

I guess liposuction would in theory be possible but I guess more prone to danger than with the chest area or butt.

Anyhow.

LOL!
Almost anyone is going to have a double-chin when looking down at the camera; That's why so many people detest their driver's license.

And yeah, I'm serious about my previously having a double chin. Majorly. It literally went from ear to ear, via down around my face; and it was THICK! Part of its disappearance was the weight loss, but part of it was / is also the exercises.

(and I didn't even have to photoshop myself.) heehee

Ironically, I gain weight in my face before anywhere else. And if I've had any junk food the day before, I can look in the mirror in the morning and look like a little butterball in my face. So then I drink lots of water to flush all that away.

Also, if the lady wears longer earrings (pendants, etc), it kind of diverts awareness of any double chin, I guess.

Sometimes, anyway.

Well . . . not with me it didn't. The chin got in the way of the earrings and the earrings just kind laid on my chin.

Yes, my face does that a bit too. If I don't eat well for a couple days, it will show in a rounder face.

Kerrlaw has stated that this is how he keeps the wrinkles away.

Probably 99% of my earrings are dangle earrings.

And all of them are much longer on me now than when I had a double chin (and many of them are the same earrings).

I actually think it only puts attention on the double chin. The earrings and the chin are right in the same place.

(If a double chin gets big enough, it's not just isolated to the "chin" area of the face; it grows upward, outward and downward as well).

If you are a man, you can just grow a big beard.

Amish beard + double chin =

Thankfully, I learned of this invention called a razor. Then I learned to go outside.

You certainly wouldn't be the first.

By outside, I meant by going on more walks. I was usually cooped up in the house, so I started walking reguarly, and eventually lost 60-80 lbs.

Now I understand.

You weren't even making a joke that time.

Congratulations on the weight loss!

I went with my wife to an Amish Furniture outlet recently...

(The staff didn't seem to be the bearded variety, though...)
