I voted for Tribute Quartet. Any group who's song can remain stuck in my head for its whole duration on the charts deserves my vote.

I haven't decided between Tribute Quartet and Old Paths.

I will have to go with the Old Paths on this one. You won't find a greater bunch of Christian guys singing anywhere. They have a great sound as well as great mixture of songs. True Southern Gospel Quartet.

I've liked the sound of both of the groups I mentioned, but I haven't been fortunate enough to hear a complete album from either yet. If I do have the chance to do that, that will probably influence my vote.

I haven't heard the Tribute Quartet yet, but I highly recommend Today and Journey Down the Old Path Volume 2 from the Old Paths. They are both outstanding.

Wow, there is a lot of great talent in this category this year. It will be hard for me to choose just one. If I could hand pick the final five for 2008, they would be:

Austins Bridge
Crabb Revival
Old Paths
Soul'd Out Quartet
Tribute Quartet

Definitely Soul'd Out - but maybe I'm biased.

If I had to objectively guess, I would predict that Tribute, Crabb Revival, the Old Paths, and the Crist Family have a lock on a Top 5 nomination.

Then I think it's down to Soul'd Out, Aaron & Amanda Crabb, and Austins Bridge to take the last spot.

Horizon Group nominees The Old Paths are to appear on Paul Heil's Gospel Greats this weekend. A good opportunity to hear and get to know them.

I voted for The Crist Family. I almost went with Crabb Revival. I guess I need to call the local radio stations cause I have never heard of Old Paths. I hear The Crist Family all the time, on the radio!

I voted for Tribute, but that was the best I could do from the choices. I would have like to have seen Driven Quartet on the list. For a "new"group they have a great sound.

I voted Tribute because I believe that they have generated the most "energy" since they started the group. Most new groups tend to go unnoticed for a few years, even with a couple of All-Star members.
