Dear Family in Christ, It's been great getting to know you and I would love for you to come visit with me here. New family members welcome, too! My hogan is yours, too. It's simple and comfortable and you are welcome to come in and make yourselves at home. ...our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ. 1 John 1:3b

WOOHOO! She's opened up her own place! I know I'll be coming to visit! Trish brings in a pavlova for everybody. (A dessert, meringue, covered in whipped cream and fresh fruit).

Hi, Trishy, John, Pammy, Trish, Barbi and Dena! What a joy to come in and find you all here! Welcome, and come back often! My holiday weekend was great, John. Yesterday was just about one of those perfect days, with a beautiful Memorial Day Ceremony at 9 am and a Birthday bbq for a guy from our church in the afternoon. What did you all do on the weekend and what are you doing today? Hey, new friends are welcome, too!! Come right on in!

I had a pretty quiet weekend. Not much happening. Went to the surgeon yesterday and he was heppy with all the goings on with my eyes. Was going to go out today, but I began feeling very unwell, so that was the end of that. Oh well. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow afternoon my time, so that will give me something to do, in between the visitors we are due to have.

Trishy and Trish--thanks for the POG and pavlova! Yummy! Hi Maggie and Trish! A Navajo dwelling place, a hogan is built out of logs and mud. I would like to have one. It sounds like a place that would be perfect for me to sit in and think, read and pray, and have people over to sit in, and think, read, talk and pray together. Of course, the Navajo people lived in them. I am too spoiled with our modern way of life to do that, though I would be game to try it for a while in the summer. Trish, I'm praying for you, thankful your eyes are doing well, and pray the God's health and strength for you. Would you tell us about your visitors?

Welcome, Brendalee and thank you for your encouragement! We can serve hoagies for sure! Beverages: black tea with optional 1% milk and honey, orange juice, grape juice and cool, clear water. Trishy is kindly supplying the POG. Hi again, John & Trishy! My family is doing fine, thanks, John! Our daughter was sick last week but is just about over it now. That wasn't easy with three children to take care of! But her husband is really good at doing things in the house anyway, and he often makes dinner as well. They say women always marry someone like their dad and in her case it is somewhat true because my husband washes the floor and does a lot of other stuff. He and our s-i-l have the same weird sense of humor as well! They don't look alike: one is fair and one dark, one is 6'2" and one 5'7"! The dark, 5'7" is my dh. Some time I will tell about how that was God's answer to my prayer! Trishy, tell us about the interview! Hope you got the job. Did you call your friend for lunch? Weekdays most of us brownbag it at the office. Sometimes I take a sandwich and sometimes leftovers, and we make it our main meal of the day. I don't want to cook when I get home from work.

What's POG? (I seem to be the ignorant one here, asking all the questions.)

Hi Joy, everybody. How are you all doing? We were supposed to have some people over to help Joan with the administration of Telecare for church. I normally help her, but when you can't see everything you're supposed to do, it's not much good. Joan's postponed it as she did some physiotherapy yesterday afternoon, and with all the other things she's been doing lately, she's been so tired. They'll do it another day.

Hello there HisJoy! quote:
What did you all do on the weekend and what are you doing today? Well, let's see. Thursday: I was off, so I did laundry, got my back tires replaced, went over a fellow sister's house to trim her hair. Once I got back home, I put some of the clothes away, took a nap, got up and packed for the next day. Friday, a group of us went to Germany for a conference (it was held Friday night and Saturday all day) and we got back late Sat. evening. Sunday was church and Monday was recuperation day! LOL As for today, I'm at work with some things to do, but instead, I'm here on this site. How are you doing today?
