So since you had to put the blame somewhere... and they love it... does the credit go the same direction?

Hey Lynn!

Are you liking the new house?

Yep...still trying to fine tune things...
Why is it when you move you either have too much or not enough furniture??? Why is it when you move the curtains that were perfect in the last place don't work in the new one and you have to go out and buy both new curtains/valances and curtain rods??? Why is it when you move there is that one box you can never find and it has all or at least most of the decorating things you want???

I always lose things during a move.

We did the move ourselves but my husband used our garage as the unloading spot and I think I need to go down there and sort through everything. I'm sure I will find what I need and then some. Now the furniture issue won't be solved in the garage...at least not mine. Our livingroom is huge and we don't have enough furniture to fill it. We barely had enough to fit the last one...we bought it for our livingroom in the house we sold in VA. It was a 1925 English Tudor and had a small or should say a narrow livingroom and it was perfect. It's almost like putting doll furniture in a regular size house now. I'm having to buy a car so most of our tax return is going towards the downpayment...in other words...the furniture issue will have to wait.

You could always by bean bags for the kiddos to sit on.

Already have those in their rooms! They sit on the floor most of the time but it's the scale of the furniture to the room that makes it look lacking. I would love one of those sectional sofas with the chaise on one side. I've always been able to decorate and set up rooms very nicely but I'm beginning to think I could use the help of one of those HGTV shows!!!

Yard sales sometimes are a good place to buy nice used furniture. I saw some today off of Brandon Ave. Wish I had known you needed some.

Good evening all. Did not go to Wal-Mart after work. Remembered the car show in town and did not want to get in that traffic.
Mrs. C. said there was an old hair dryer here somewhere.
