Here is the official stalking thread for my sister and my soon-coming niece, Evangeline. 
Official due date: April 23
If I recall correctly, she is so far dialated to 1 cm and 80% effaced.
All of her showers have been thrown, so she is good to go!

yeah they never know. I was told with my first that it would be past another week, and I went into labor the next night....lol.

so what is your work schedule going to be like? Are you going on mat. leave? I know you also said that when the baby is pretty young you have to go for training or something...right?

Well I will be quitting this job once the baby is born. (HOORAY) I have 4 weeks of paid leave saved up though, so I'm gonna wait until about halfway through my leave before I "officially" quit, so I still get credit for having put in 2 weeks notice. Everyone's pretty much aware that I won't be coming back. So they've hired a temp to cover my leave, and they'll probably just go ahead and hire her full time once I quit.
I should have about a week and a half to train her (assuming I make it all the way till my due date).
The Salvation Army officer training starts in August so she'll be about 4 months old when we go. We'll both be full time students, but there's a fabulous family day care center on campus right next to the building where most of our classes will be held, so I should be able to run over and nurse her between classes. Typically classes run from about 9:00 am until 2:00 or 3:00 in the afternoon with an hour break for lunch.
ETA: Of course this is all assuming we get accepted to the training program. We should be finding out for sure sometime late this month. . .so right about the time the baby comes!

No, it's just one of those little power brooms.
Honestly I think the department should just buy a new keyboard. This one is ancient and has seen a lot of abuse over the past 3 years. . .including having orange juice spilled on it. LOL! It's amazing that it still works at all.

Christa? No, I don't think so. . .she went to a college in Indianapolis. I don't remember the name of it off the top of my head.
This training college is in Chicago.
